@@Gselx i actually read an article online where an over weight womans obituary called out fat shamers. Apparently some obese people won't go to the doctors because they claim the doctors say that they won't do anything until the person loses weight. Now i am a bit overweight myself and i've been through it. i was put on a medicine that messed up my stomach and the doc said 'Here try the low carb diet, it works wonders for weight loss and here's some heartburn meds.' 2nd visit 'I can't really do much unless you lose more weight.' 3rd visit: didn't even go. I was often in so much pain i was doubled over and once started crying from the pain which is unusual for me since i have a good pain tolerance.

This literally happened to my mom and I. I am small she is big. I took her to get our nails done for her birthday. They spoke down to her IF they would speak to her at all. Several people noticed and my mom looked so devastated. It was HER day and they made her feel like shit. I stood up and said "let's go before I lose my shit." She looked so relieved. I was crushed. My mom is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and she has thyroid issues. She's well aware of her weight. She has worked most of her life to get it under control and it is out of her control. It did make our heart smile to see others immediately get up and follow us out, a few minutes after 3 more walked out. We left a review and will NEVER set foot in that place again. The whole day still brings tears to my eye.

@@DK-uc9zr No they don't. I have an example to prove otherwise Can't remember what the issue was. But once I saw a person completely ignore a bad situation. And John came out and asked why they didn't say anything to the perp or try to stick up for the innocent person. The guy claimed he didn't hear what happened. But John proved that the guy did hear it and made a comment about it to his friends. And the guy got upset and left. I also saw many times when the people agreed with the perp. So if that is the case, than they do show both sides of story. Maybe there wasn't anyone who was on the side of the salon employee.
