I love that. I love it when they went to some kind of crusade and the wife told one of the preachers, or maybe it was an usher that they needed the Holy Ghost and they made both of them leave the service.

Feb 23, 2022 Wednesday Two Prayers For Today Prayer Lord sometimes I take pride in being a good person,and especially in being a good friend. I love my friends and want good things for them. Sometimes though I disappoint them because I can't help when they need my services, or I don't realize quickly enough that they are in trouble. Sometimes I talk but I don't act to relieve the things that trouble them. Help me to be a good friend, a worthy friend, a helpful friend, a faithful friend, a skilled and capable and competent friend. Help me to be there when someone needs my services, and to encourage them whenever possible. Keep me from only giving excuses and help me more readily lend a helping hand. Just as you are always present, always there when I need You, help me as much as possible to be there for those who need my service. I thank You for all of my precious friends. Prayer 2 He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the Justice of your cause shine like the Monday. Psalm 37:6 Lord, I don't often get angry like a bee buzzing loudly, but I'm not good at handling things when I am feeling outraged. Sometimes, I feel fully justified, and think I have every right to be mad. Other times I am not even sure where these feelings come from as they rise out of me like steam from a pressure cooker. Today Lord I ask You to be with me and with others who suffer feelings of anger and don't know the best way to help anger pass. Give me strength and discernment to get rid of the feelings of anger; mine and the anger of others around me, and to forgive myself, and forgive a person or event which has offended me. Amen Aristotle said, "Anybody can become angry that's easy; but to be angry with the right person and at the right time, and for the right purpose, and in the right way, that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.
