Hi Joe,Gift & David .Glad to see that you have arrived in Hanoi after the minor problems you had with David's visa. I like the apartment you have so if you need you footwear just go downstairs. Very interesting vlog Gift and Joe. Hanoi is certainly not a pace to go if you want a quiet, relaxing break. Looks like you take your life in your hands every time you go out on the street. The food looked delicious and that little grocery shop seemed to have everything you could possibly want. Shame about your friends not being able to make it, hope they manage to meet up with you for a couple of days. God Bless the three of you 😀❤🙏

We have had a wonderful Journey touring Vietnam. Young people is keen talking English to tourists. We had funny conversations with them ,especially when it comes to the rivalry between Saigon and Hanoi . I recommend the night market and a walk around the lake on Saturday night, the unique atmosphere is unbeatable in Hanoi.

Was there in March. I enjoyed Da Nang much more than Hanoi. Make sure you go to Bana Hill in Da Nang. It’s an all day start early thing but it’s really amazing. Hope you do the river caves outside of Hanoi. That was very cool and unexpected.

Hi Joe and Gift. I went to Vietnam last year. I went to DaNang, HoiAn, and Hanoi. Hanoi was definitely my least favorite place. It was cool to check out the old French quarter, the Hanoi hilton, and Ha long bay, but after a few days, I was ready to leave. To crowded, dirty, and total chaos for me. I did stay in a nice studio with a full kitchen, washer and everything for $23usd a day. When I go back, I'll check out Nha treng and some other areas.

Always use your full passport name when applying for any visa. I've only been to Da Nang, Ba Na Hills and Hoi An. But what an amazing 5 days we had in Vietnam.

The problem is the antiquated Vietnam visa website that only asks for first and last names. There is no box for middle name and then they make more money when tourists have to add it at the last minute.
