Try to visit temples early in the morning on festival days, otherwise you may face hundreds of crowds as evening begins. And then visit on a regular day to experience a calm and serene environment.

Hey man! Yeah I was already in Nepal during your RathaYatra. And I'm not sure I would have went anyways... It's been a difficult year. Saw pictures though. Looked like it was a great success. And yes I had to turn my camera off at the Mandir in Durbar Square as well... Maybe it's due to the amount of people. And it would slow things down... Anyways. Great to hear from you. btw it's nepali not nepalese. our language and ethnicity both r nepali, nepalese is western term just like kukri and gurkha. We don't say bengalese, punjabese, pakistanese, indianese do we? same with nepali
