I have just had some thoughts about life, working, and our inherit human value. These are just some of my own personal thoughts on the world right now. I hope you can get something out of it.
NOTE: I did not actually flip the plane off.

Hello nice to meet you! Your video popped up on my feed and the message really resonates. I always feel like I'm slow. Like, all my friends are zooming by me in life and I'm still trying to find my direction. I always joke that I need to find a real people job 🙂 I mean, at the very least I need to find something that will make me enough to afford living. In the US it is very expensive just to live. If you were born here you have no choice. I do appreciate a lot of the comforts we have, but compared to other countries that have more of a culture of community and less value on material goods, I think the country is generally kind of depressed. Our success is measured by the value of our possessions. It's ugly. On the surface I think most people think this way. That's refreshing to hear some speak out against the mindset of capitalism. The last few years I have made it a point to just not purchase things. Basically, unless I really need to replace something or if buying a new version of something will make my life better, I just use the same things I've been using all these years. I also think your point about living the experience of life more fully is important. There's a delicate balance because as we all know time is money and money is time lol! But anyway, right before covid I started playing world of Warcraft classic. I met a group of people there that I've been hanging out with pretty much every night for the last 5 years lol! In fact, I am currently at a yearly get-together we have! All of the nights kind of smush into one big blur but every year for a week I remember seeing the faces of the voices that I'm so familiar with now 🙂 it's fun stuff!

@@ElektronikaGirl I read your whole comment. Thank you for sharing your perspective and experiences in life. So cool! I couldn't agree more. Life in America is very weird, twisted, and different right now. Over consumerism is wild how it takes over. Even I am guilty of that. But filling out lives with memories and moments rather than stuff I think would make us happier.

But what do you think of overworking at your hobbies? Actually, that’s what I read the first time. Let’s say that a person wants to become very good at coding, and he is very passionate about it, do you think that working relatively long hours is kind of bad? Because not many people are gifted and are able to learn something very fast, for some of us, is a slow process that needs hours put in. But in this exemple assuming that he is somewhat balanced with family, rest time, sleep and other things. And also, do you think that if a person learns slow, is dumb? Thank you in advance.

@@gabiru2054 I feel like the world often looks at people who learn slow and thinks they are dumb, but I certainly don't feel that way. I believe everyone is different, and embracing all of the differences makes the world better overall I think.
