To begin with, Veer Savarkar's Hindutva ideology is not based on religion. It has been misinterpreted by the BJP and all political parties in India. If anyone bothers to read about Savarkar and not rely upon vague comments and baseless criticism about him, they will understand him better. Secondly, yes, I believe that the current Government should have been more secular. BJP is a very conservative party and that has to change in a secular nation. Thirdly, yes, it is true that foreign Muslim conquerors didn't do much good in India, but that does not mean that we blame all Muslims for this.
