I vividly remember Fred Rwigyema right from our days in o level at Mbarara High School in 1976. Those OBs of 1976 still alive I believe you still remember him. He was then called Emmanuel Gisa. I vividly remember his group together with Gen Cheffe Ali (we used to call him Museveni at Mbarara High Schl) as they moved around school deceptively mobilising that they were going to China to burry Chairman Mao Tsetung, yet they were going to TZ and joining FRONSA. He was a quiet, but skillful mobiliser even at such a young age. Sadly missed Gen Fred.

The life and legacy of Fred Rwigyema is indeed a testament of the close brotherhood and sisterhood of Rwanda and Uganda. This shared blood will live beyond M7 and Kagame. Rwigyema is one of the heros that I revere. His premature death makes me sad. But is 'death' not the midwife of attaining legendary status? Could I revere him today if he had stayed alive and been in government for long like his comrades in Kampala and Kigali now? Might he not have turned into a detestable monster if he had stayed in power for long? I think an early death immortalized his legacy much more effectively than more years of life would have.

Greetings of Peace and Wellness from Canada 🇨🇦 to you Mr Tony and your team .So many of us were born in Uganda and our Parents left us when we were still too young to ask and to know much about their struggle while they were refugees in Uganda since 1959. I love and bless the fact that you emphasize one oneness rather than what divides us .You appreciate the contributions of Rwandan -Ugandans among them Late Major General Gisa Rwigema, President Paul Kagame ,Etc .Rwanda also recognizes that liberation struggle that stopped the Genocide perpetrated Against The Tutsis of Rwanda 🇷🇼 and saved the country from further on the top of what it had endured within almost 40 years wouldn’t have been Possible without the supports of President Museveni and all fellow Ugandan sisters and brothers. We can’t thank you enough for your neutrality and professionalism you are capitalizing upon to reunify us around one cause (Save Africa from wars and hatred that keep us behind other continents ) and subject us to being exploited and damaged by whoever holding the super power .Can you tell us about the hard times that Rwandan Refugees endured Under Obote and Idi amini Dada Please ?.
