So much I could say about this album. This mans is a master of the key change and the deceptive progression for starters. Soundscape is mesmerizing, the hooks are all instantly iconic, and even with all the rich jazz chords there isn't a single moment that's too dissonant. The drops and grooves make me move every. single. time. It's the perfect blend of modern progressive rock and classic jazz/classical elements punctuated with the always welcome retro synths. Every single track is a banger. This is probably my favorite instrumental rock album of all time.

The young man doing the test was playing music (yeah) and ask what I wanted to hear. I like most everything & left it up to him. Wow! This is what he played! I'd never heard of Owane & was blown away! It certainly made the time go by quickly but made it difficult to not move! @@Nofishnoclue Didn't get it either, so i googled and found this: "The Lick is a commonly used jazz lick (a stock musical pattern),[a] regarded as "the most famous jazz cliche ever".[2][3] It has been popularised as it is easily adaptable into all keys and modes and is heard in many famous pieces, including many non-jazz pieces.[4][5][1] It has been seen in adverts, such as in an "Injury Lawyers for You" advert and in the music on popular TV programmes, such as The Late Show. The Lick is now usually used for comedic effect,[b] as it has become "such as cliche" that musicians tend to only see it as an inside joke, so unironic performances are rare. The Lick is usually played over a ii°-V-i (minor-key) chord progression.[7][2]"

I've heard Owane do a few outside-y scale things I've never heard done before. Man, he is sooooo good. EVH sounds like red neon to me, Owane sounds like structures made of steel girders. Top quality writing, playing, recording, the whole deal. Love the variety of weird sounds that throw me off. Love the rhythmic diversity. LOVE THE GUITAR PLAYING. Soooooooo good.

I was just listening to the new Polyphia album for the first time and already put the album into my cart on their website, but this album from the master himself auto-played and made me second guess my decision in a very real way which I found surprising. I love Polyphia, and I've owned "Yeah whatever" since day one. It never leaves my car's CD player. I honestly just want to hear more of this incredible artwork and now I have to really ask myself if the new Polyphia is worth my money in comparison to this absolute masterpiece. I'd buy Owane's daily practice throw away stuff with a huge smile and zero doubts. 10/10 mind blowing and never gets old. Same goes for his last 2 albums. One Curl in Bangkok hits so damn hard...

Piece of mastery in every way.. Wow...love and respects from India... The dislikes here bother me..actually.. Tho I fully respect individual taste and rights .. Still, Talent is inevitably beautiful.. And such high standards of musicality stil get dislikes! Seriously! What does this world want really! LISTEN, USE YOUR EARS, PLEASE LISTEN YOU DISLIKERS....
