its a rather large dock to be really portable, the downside to a builtin power supply is that if it ever fails, the entire dock is bricked

Thanks for watching, @jondrew55! The TB/USB4 ports in the back (while not HDMI ports) can also be used to connect to monitors. Some docks do have more HDMI ports. How many HDMI ports are needed in your setup?
