Chance was dressed like a modern day seaman, Rob was a Cape Cod fisherman, Adam was channeling "The Little Mermaid". Austin was Sinbad and of course Tim was Jack Sparrow !! I thought Adam did an unbelievable job, did you hear the cassinets?? And did you notice Tim was standing in a boat? From what I read it was in his brother-in-laws back yard, LOL.

Tim was in someone's backyard in Texas standing in a rowboat because ....Covid? His booming bass underneath it all is just ..holy shit! All the guys are harmonizing as they always do -- perfectly. Austin and his eyeliner killed the entire drunken sailor Johnny Deppery thang. Adam --- Good Lord --- When he released his inner flamenco dancer I lost it. They are hilarious.

That’s actually Chance’s boat. He doesn’t have room for it in LA, so he... stores it at Tim’s brother-in-law’s house, naturally? So Tim is at his brother-in-law’s house, standing in Chance’s boat for this video.

I saw a video one time - can't remember if it was an interview or live show or what. Someone asked Adam Rupp how long it took him to learn to beatbox. Adam's reply was, "I'm still learning." And it's true -he's always adding new "sound effects". He's just amazing.

They actually filmed themselves for this video during COVID lockdowns and had their video editor put it all together. That was one reason for the portrait mode - it made everything consistent for editing purposes. They put out about two videos a month during lockdown so their fans would have new content.

Great review! A few comments (in no particular order): - Take a listen to "Man of Constant Sorrow" for some great Tim's bass + Adam's beatboxing. Then give us your review. 😊 - During "Santiana", when Chance says "and an old salty yank for a capt'n too", he makes the face of that captain! 😄 - The beatboxing during "Santiana" is so crazy good, it should be an olympic competition.

Glad you brought forth the masdive effort THE HOME FREE. group has put forth during this pandemic. Can't imagine all the extra efforts to keep ther fans entertained during these trying times. The exta cost has to be phenominal and the strain of working away from each other as well.Yet for all these months their smiles and comraderie carried on. Whay I was wondeing awas how they seemingly have stayed healthy I say seemingly because to my way they are true proffessionalz S and will not be whining if they got the sniffles. Home Free has really kept their noses to the grindstone during this pandemic. It really shows their work ethic and commitment to their craft and their fans. Also, if these videos are so good being shot from their homes, can you imagine the chemistry that will explode when they finally get on stage together? Tim... oh Tim... definitely rumbling from somewhere deep below the sea bed. And Adam, let's just expand upon his moniker of Freak of Nature and add some castanets to his repertoire! I think my favorite might have been the 4th shanty Cape Cod Girls because we got to hear Rob in a bit lower register for once. Actually they all stayed fairly low for that one. The medley as a whole was amazing. Great reaction. I appreciate the way you break things down differently as a musician. Thank you!

Yes! Home Free has been on TikTok for quite awhile. I will admit I was not as excited about hearing the sea shanties at first, but I thought about how they have covered many genres and put their own spin on every one of the them. How could it possibly not be entertaining? I’ve been of fan of theirs for many years and I’m also one of their Patrons so I had a preview and watched this. I loved it! Had a smile on my face the whole time! I really enjoyed your reaction! I’ve tried a little beatboxing (and failed miserably. 😂). It definitely made me appreciate Adam way more! Of course, he’s been beatboxing for almost 21 years so he has loads of experience! That bass, though! It was phenomenal! The lead vocals by Chance, Austin, and Rob were excellent! They will be releasing a brand new video this Thursday! I can’t reveal anything, but I can tell you it’s epic!!

I really enjoy your reactions, since, as a musician, you appreciate the music on a different level. 💕 Chance's attire is very reminiscent of a merchant seaman, which is more apropos of sea shanties than pirates, BUT I can't fault Adam, Tim & Austin for having fun with that. Rob was the one whose outfit was a little 'off' to me, even though his moustache was on point. 🤣🤣🤣 Our other favorite bass, Geoff, is dropping a new video the end of the week, keep an eye out. 😉

Me and my sister (she was an unofficial roadie for one of the singers) used to hang out with a Celtic band o so many decades ago and they would always do that song. Just hearing that song (especially done by these doofuses I love so much) always makes me smile. Edit: Yep! I did miss it. Going to watch that now once I've started paying more attention.
