The $1700 MK5 Jetta (It's a Manual!)

I have a Mk5 jetta in silver that has an automatic. 4 owners. 180,000 miles and it looks like it was just driven off the car lot. A little bit of surface rust here and there but it's so clean on the inside and out it looks brand new. I don't think personally $1,700 for a car in that condition is a good deal, but that's just me.

There were a couple of things that I didn’t mention in the video that might explain the price tag. The car had four brand new Motegi MR118 wheels worth about $200 bucks each. And the car came with steels in the trunk, which basically brought the value of the actual car to $1000. Additionally, the car has a rather expensive magnaflow catless exhaust. I didn’t know this until I started doing other repairs to the car, but who only knows how much the previous owner paid for that. I probably wouldn’t buy another MK5 Jetta, only because the 07K motors are a pain to work on, and I like the look of MK4 VW’s a lot more.
