The team that led me into watching ski jumping. I remember watching the Japanese team, after smoking a joint. I was hypnotized and amazed by the show!!!

But in the end. He made jump of his life and won gold medal for Japan team. It's one of the most emotional olympic stories. With happy ending. :)

Harada had many problems with mental sphere... 🤔 But, in the end, he is one of most important jumpers in Japan history!

@@97kos Well, I think so. When Harada jumped 136m in the individual competition, he broke Kasai's previous hill record with 4.5m. It took them 10 minutes to measure it. And this jump was even 1 meter further. Okabe also jumped 137m, but he had higher speed. And Harada jumped 10.5m longer than the second-longest jump that round.

At the training camp one month before the Nagano Olympics, the Japanese national team played football with warm-up. Kasai touched Harada and injured his left ankle. True story www.chunichi.co.jp/chuspo/article/column/heiseimonogatari/CK2019011002100032.html

He was only on smaller hill (7th place), mainly due to fact, that he had problem earlier with ankle, and his mother was dead...
