When I hear this song, I think of someone that has a mental disorder, lost someone they loved dearly, or went through a tragic event that left them scarred and they started seeing the dark side of the world and couldn't see the light and only darkness, but they keep telling themselves that their going to make it and that they will survive. Wow, just thinking of that makes me kinda sad now. :')
