💚🦉💚 I prefer the spookiness of the OC cover...and the looking glass is a prominent theme in the book (I'm halfway thru...its very good). Separately..FL has pretty art...but taken together...it is not cohesive. To me it is chaotic. Individually tho...each part is pretty. Enjoyed your review!💚

I think the reverse of the dust jacket seemed like it went pretty well with the end pages on Fairyloot's, but I don't own that one so its only from seeing pictures of it. I also think oddly the end pages in Owlcrate's edition don't go with the rest of its spooky design and look almost cozy 😂 Funny how they sort of swapped up on those. One with a spooky cover but not end pages and the other a floral pretty cover with spooky end pages!

How long is the wait list for fairyloot usaully or is there one

@Hellolovelie I got on the wait list March 30th of '23 and got my invitation for a subscription box April 27th '23... the turnaround isn't too bad for the waitlist ☕️😊📚

@@MeandmyTea Wow that is super lucky! I'm not sure how you got the invitation in just a month, but for most its at least 10 months to even over a year at this point. As of the end of last month they were up to those who wait listed December 9th 2023 in the UK and November 15th 2023 in the US for the YA Box with goodies.

I feel like this is a very underwhelming box. Nothing is bad per se, but they've done every item at least twice before. Nothing is unique or new this month. 🪞 OC's book: Love the green edges, but it'd be nice if they'd get stenciled ones too. Not a fan of the front dust jacket. It's ok. I do like the hard case though! And I appreciate that the reverse jacket has the title on the spine! FL wins on front cover and just slightly ekes out the win for edges (that green is amazing on OC and matches the hard case so well.) FL wins for end pages. OC wins for an actual signature vs a digital one. They both have an author letter and bonus content so, tie for that. OC wins for me b/c of the real signature, though I'd really be drawn to the FL's cover. Hand signed wins for me every time! 🦉
