nikki, you could make a small pin banner, to showcase the pins you actually keep. It's real easy, I've done it myself, just grab a bit of black fabric, cut it into a banner shape, sew or glue a chopstick and hold it up by knotting twine to each end of the chopstick. so you can hang you banner on your shelves no problem.

The look of disappointment on your face when you showed those gloves…I felt so bad for you! The box definitely overhyped the product!!! I think Anna dressed in blood is quite good. Just a few gorey parts, it’s YA after all. Skip the tbr and read it now! It’s the PERFECT time of year!!!

LOL I felt bad for myself! OMG, I was SO disappointed with those basic gloves 🥲 And I'm really considering reading the books this month, I agree that it is also the perfect time of year for it! 🎃

Not a bad box items wise. Was very disappointed by the gloves for you. I was imagining black lace and they gave diy fingerless gloves. I think the money for that item went into the box! Every item was a repeat of some sort for Owlcrate, though the coffin jewelry box was the most unique repeat. Didn't like the trinket dish...not even a nice design imo. But overall, I wouldn't have been too upset if I received it. Books are nice but the dust jackets are kind of childish looking. I do like the hard cases though. The 1st with the skeletons on the front are my fav...

The gloves! I will NEVER forgive them for that disappointment. I was also expecting some lacy, faux leather or even satin gloves, not DIY fingerless gloves 😭 It was an absolute horror to have those terrible gloves in such an elegant, beautiful box. I'm totally passing up on that trinket dish, I also didn't care too much for the design. But yes, I agree overall not a bad box and I'm happy I got it. Loved the designs of the hard cases on the books! I typically enjoy tarot design references and these were beautifully done, plus go well with each book. Also the popping red with the gold, such a stunning combo!

@@nikkilovesbooks Ugh, they've even done better gloves that would have at least been on theme (they did fingerless ones with skulls on them, knitted). Such a missed opportunity!
