Oh I definitely think you made the better choice. Because the owlcrate ones look a little bit nicer with the Silver instead of the Gold in my opinion. And they're a lot cheaper.

First book is my favorite both in content and this design. I thought the items were pretty good. Did you notice the piece of glass you didn't hold up has mountains on the inside? Thought it was pretty cool. That mug is why I bought the items with the books. I can't say I loved the pins but the packaging was premium. The blanket is my second favorite item. Super soft! Believe you 're right that it is the King of Scars duology. Thanks for sharing!

I am also a Darklina fan and i am so envious of the goodies! As for the books, I already have my own set so I would not have bought the special edition if I am honest. Still, my fav special edition has to be the first one, though I am not a fan of the artwork between pages, because I like the reversible dust jacket the most. Fav book: definitely not Ruin and Rising. Prob shadow and bone because…Darkling

Great video as always. I think everyone is going to have different opinions based on their personal taste and preference. It’s great that each company made two very different looks to fit different people. I personally prefer the Litjoy Edition. The Black and Gold fits the series best for me (black for the Darkling and gold for Alina) and Rosie Thorns’s edges are the best edges I have ever seen. I’ve recently seen the slip cover for Litjoy’s Six of Crow’s and they are amazing, so I’m excited for the Shadow and Bone’s slip cover. My favorite item from the Owlcrate box is the book sleeve, it’s stunning. I agree with you, Mel doesn’t deserve Alina. 🙂
