IN THE MIDDLE 🌸 Complete Feathertail/Nightcloud/Leafpool AU MAP

wow, wow, wow!! this one is really beautiful you guys. it's 2 years in the making, it's my baby, it's wonderful, it's perfect. i honestly can't stress enough how much i love this map, and how excited i am to finally be able to share it with all of you. please subscribe to each one of the participants and give them your life - this project would be nothing without their talents!
SUMMARY
This MAP is set in a good vibes only timeline! I wanted to focus on just the three of them and their relationship, so it's somewhat of a utopia in that Feathertail can visit the world of the living with no issues, and it's just normal, and they have a great time.
The MAP starts with Feathertail visiting Leafpool's dreams at the moonpool, and she has a proposition - she thinks all three of them should be friends! They have something common, after all. Leafpool agrees and the two of them set out to greet Nightcloud - while she's uncertain at first, the charms of Leafpool and Feathertail get to her, and they start to hang out.
The next few scenes show their budding relationship. As they spend time together over weeks, they grow more affectionate with each other - their friendship is blooming into something more. It all culminates one afternoon: they're resting under a cherry blossom tree when Nightcloud speaks, proposing that they admit they've fallen in love and become mates. And Feathertail and Leafpool accept, of course, because they've fallen in love too!

Feathertail, his first love who he never truly moved on from and didn’t get to hear much from, visits him in a dream. He is excited, he thinks he’s going to receive some prophecy to make her proud of him or show off, he thinks she has an important message for him. She stands before him, beautiful silver tabby fur alight with all the stars in the cosmos (pun intended) just as beautiful as the day he lost her. She gazes warmly at him, and opens her mouth to speak. He pricks his ears and looks intently at her, determined to soak in every heavenly moment in her presence, preparing for her divine message. Smiling with that same gentle smile he fell in love with, she whispers softly to him. Her words shake the earth itself, and change his life forever. “I’m sorry, Crowfeather, I got your bitches.” She bites her bottom lip as she fades away leaving him confused and heartbroken, waking up with her scent still in his nest, and Nightcloud nowhere to be seen. The next day Crowfeather wakes to the sun warming his pelt. Nightcloud is back in her usual place, snoring loudly as if she had been there all night. But her fur was damp and covered in grass; she really had gone outside. He pokes her side and she grunts drowsily, pushing him away. “Nightcloud.” He says firmly. “I had a very strange dream…” Nightcloud rolls over to look at him, instantly more alert. “Feathertail?” She says, her tone verging on panic. “Yes. How did you know?” Nightcloud seems to collect herself, sitting up straighter and licking her ruffled chest fur in mock relaxation. “Well.” She purrs, her tone suddenly light and teasing. “Her and Leafpool are into the strange stuff. So I just guessed.” She shrugs, winks at her ex-mate and leaves her nest before he can register what she said or the meaning behind it. Meanwhile, back in the Thunderclan camp, Jayfeather is concerned. Leafpool has been staring at nothing a lot lately, and always seems tired. And he of all cats notices when she sneaks out at night, and returns with light and bouncy paw steps and contented sighs before sinking back into her nest. Not to mention the rather obvious scent of Windclan she had on her before she could wash herself off. At first he might have excused it as going out late to collect herbs close to the boarder to avoid trouble, but it was happening so frequently that he had begun to suspect the worst; that she had gone back to sneaking out to meet with his father, Crowfeather. His blood boiled at the very thought of his mother getting all moony-eyed over that mange-pelt. His claws dug into the grass outside the medicine den as he waited for her return. Finally, she emerged from the dirt place tunnel, her pawsteps light and bouncy as usual. She was happy. But her happy humming turned into a squeak of surprise as Jayfeather emerged from the shadows and thrust himself in front of her. “Where and why.” He said simply, his words sharp and stern. Leafpool gave no response, though he heard her paws shuffle uncomfortably and he could imagine her looking down at them in shame. “If you’re seeing Crowfeather again…” “Jayfeather, please!” She burst out. “I should hope you’d have a little more faith in me than that. I would be prepared to swear in front of every Thunderclan leader in Starclan that I am not going to meet with that sour thistle-brained cat.” Jayfeather was surprised by the force of the genuine anger in her voice. “Then what are you doing?” He noticed too late the scent of chervil as she responded with the obvious answer; gathering herbs. Of course. And so they went back inside where Briarlight and Alderheart were already asleep, snoring undisturbed by the tiff. As Leafpool curled her tail over her nose, Jayfeather asked one more time. “You promise you aren’t meeting him?” His mother gave a gentle sigh, settling into her nest. “I promise I’m not meeting Crowfeather at the boarder.” Closing her eyes, she added under her breath “no promises about his mate though.” -Me last night to my best friend after sending him this. I love this! I found the map call for this a long while ago and have been looking forward to it. I was feeling a bit down and this just immediately lifted the weight off my chest!
