LEMON BOY 🍋 COMPLETE BREEZEPELT & CROWFEATHER MAP

It's here! I couldn't be prouder of this project. Everyone came together to create an amazing MAP, my first longer MAP!! Be sure to check in the description for all the credits!
Lemon Boy takes place during the events of Crowfeather's Trial. It starts out with Crowfeather and Breezepelt's reactions to Nightcloud going missing, then continues into the weeks after where they search for her. Throughout that time, Crowfeather grows closer to Breezepelt, and begins to realize how poorly he treated his son. He defends him when Leaftail and Weaselnose attack him, and begins to repair their bond.
When they finally find Nightcloud in twolegplace, they return home and drive out the stoats, only for Breezepelt to be mortally wounded in the process.
Crowfeather is horrified - he's only just begun to grow closer to his son, and he might lose him. He remembers the cats he's lost in the past - Feathertail, and Breezepelt's siblings. He can't lose Breezepelt.
And he doesn't. Breezepelt gets better, and Crowfeather gets a chance to actually get to know his son. The world is bright now, and so is their future.

I’ve been out of the fandom for about 2 years now, but I still go and watch the maps because of how lovely they are... and this? This is the perfect example of that! I adore the designs, especially breezepelt’s, and the parts and script flow so nicely together. Crowfeather's Trial was one of the best Warriors books I've read in a *long, long, long* time. I haven't read something like it since the 'A Vision Of Shadows' arc. I adore Crowfeather's character. He's tragic, and grumpy, and just good writing. And this is coming from an experienced writer. I really should re-read it soon.

I started to read Crowfeather's trial after I first watched this. After I finished it, I rewatched this and I had already grown a lot more attached to breezepelt from the book, to the point where when he is injured and everyone frets over him in the medicine den I actually teared up a bit. I am not that much of a softie most the time so this is a *massive* accomplishment. Like really the only other time I cry is when I'm watching dog movies.

this map is the one that never fails to make me cry. it's such a beautiful story of love and forgiveness. i've always kind of related to breezepelt because of the very strained relationship i had with my parents growing up - they felt like they were trying, i felt like i was trying, but nobody was getting to the core issue, so we were just constantly putting tons of effort into the wrong things. i was severely depressed and suicidal and they kept insisting that i wasn't and was just making stuff up for attention. it wasn't until i grew up and got help and was able to grow into myself more that i started to really get along with my parents. i think you portrayed that kind of dynamic really well here - breezepelt had to get out of the dark forest death cult for crowfeather to be able to appreciate him, and for breezepelt to be able to appreciate crowfeather. this is really gorgeous all around. the artists did a fantastic job and the visual storytelling is excellent. the character designs are so charming and lovely to look at. the narrative arc was also so well told, the script is just excellent. such a well done map, everyone involved should be so proud. also, love the mbmbam bit at the end.

This is my favorite Warriors MAP by far, out of every one that I've watched. The song is absolutely perfect for Crowfeather and Breezepelt and their relationship throughout Crowfeather's Trial, the MAP is ABOUT Crowfeather's Trial, my favorite Warriors book of all time, and its so beautifully animated by everyone that participated. It's even got a meme at the end. What more could you possibly want out of a MAP? I've watched this so many times that I can't count them all. Anyone else get filled with pure, ripe hatred whenever Nightcloud appeared on screen Also sweet Jesus on the moldy cheezits! This is amazing. So glad to see a Crowfeather map that doesn't depict him as some evil edgelord who abuses his family. Edit: also to the person who I got into an argument to on another comment about Crowfeather abusing his family, if you're not prepared to own up to getting proven wrong, then don't argue.

@@zephyrash you can't possibly be saying that Crowfeather was like Breezepelt.. you can't just clump them all together, Breezepelt was a petulant child who tried to kill his half siblings because they "shouldn't have been born" and Nightcloud abused Crowfeather emotionally and sometimes even physically. (Y'know, that one scene where she drags him away from Leafpool..) Crowfeather like, idk, complimented Lionpaw that one time and Breezepelt just went apeshit. Not to mention, Crowfeather also saved Breezepelt from certain death but of course, no one mentions that. Ever. He just didn't pay much attention to Breezepelt and all of a sudden he's a serial abuser who burned down your house and murdered your wife. Crowfeather was the most innocent out of all of them.

The perspective the idea gives to this song is amazing. I like how the relationship is treated (I have seen many that prefer to choose the rivalry side of it) and all the parallels to the song. Well done everyone!!

the best sour dad and son around This turned out great! I'm so happy someone felt the same as I did when they read Crowfeather's Trial. I didn't really like these two until this book and I loved the MAP and book so much!(no joke, i actually finished it the day after this came out) Everyone did an amazing job, and those memes made me forcefully exhale through my nose. The lemon pills one especially made me nut. XD And the cut-off was even more amazing. Once again, amazing job to everyone that participated, and thank you owlipoppen for hosting!

So like, I have seen several and I mean SEVERAL Warriors MAPS, but there is something about this frickin AMAZING MAP that just makes me come back and watch it again and I get surprised at the beauty every time. Congratulations to everyone who participated in this masterpiece!
