On February 12th 2021 and after 87 years of operation, the Mercado Modelo closed its doors for good.
Combining music and documentary record, this audiovisual piece reflects the work and environment that surrounded those last days at the market, a place where most of the food consumed in Montevideo and metropolitan area was traded, sold, and stored.
