I pray that people wake up and let go of their illusion of the person and ego. There is no hate in the true self. Just pure, never ending love and peace

My family and I had the privilege to get to know Richard and his wisdom back in the early 1970s when the charismatic movement was sweeping through a lot of the Catholic church. Richard is truly a humble, wise, Christ centered man and priest in all the best ways🙏🙏🙏

My heart took a leap this morning when I saw that Oprah was able to get Richard for an interview. I know he doesn’t do many these days and I miss him so. He changed my life when I found him during a crisis of faith.

I am sitting here wanting to cry. I avoided Richard Rohr for many years because of my history with the Catholic Church - resentment on my part - totally ego - get it. And yet, I found myself purchasing Mortal Diamond and Falling Forward. Both life-changing and God-giving. He is an incredible messenger and he won my heart. I am ordering The Universal Christ today. I am grateful for my openness and self-freedom, therefore, I live in the present and stand in gratitude for every single part of my journey - so far. !

After years of practicing mindfulness meditation, my heart fluttered for more. In some sessions, I encountered a glimpse of the vastness that Oprah described and I developed a hunger to know more. In my search, I found centering prayer, and the door opened to Fr Rohr. I'm so grateful.

While living in the high desert in Albuquerque I had an experience of God moving in and out of me. At times, God was in me and outside of me at the same time. I was confused, wondering which it was. Was God in me or outside of me? I then understood that God is in me AND outside of me-at all times. Because I scorned Christianity prior to these experiences, I was shocked by other experiences in which God took the form of a man, both a father and a lover. This was so far removed from how I had previously thought of God. And then I understood that God, being God, can and does take any and all forms. Why, even some of the Christian ideas of God now seemed perfectly legitimate! How humble I became!

It’s important that we don’t think of anyone’s endorsement as anything more than an introduction to authors and their works. It requires that we do our own research, if after the introduction, we are moved to do so.

A dog is a god having the experience of a dog. A fish is a god having the experience of a fish. A tree is a god having the experience of a tree. A river is a god having the experience of a river. Panentheism implies that we are separate. We are not. Deal with it or not. ❤

This is very much of Vedanta teaching of the Upanishads. Only say the word and I shall be healed, Eternity is thy Whole Soul within, Thy Whole Soul of Existence, Consciousness, Bliss. All is adorned there is no significance. God is not theirs of any kind, no race, no casts or theirs of a chosen factor, God is "there" within and One to none. To each thy own but of thine? This is equal to everyone and when the Self is seen? This is thee equality of creation and That Thou Art!!!
