She had to change it, they didn't want the awareness to celebrated over national television! More than likely they told her that she could talk about anything else, but don't show the word how we treat African American men, period ..... give away card are something !

As a white woman, I honestly did not know that this kind of racism was going on and the detrement it has caused. I have always believed that black people just used their complaints as racist unjustifiably. I admit to fearing black men, not women but, I have tried to treat all people with love. I sincerely apologize for our ignorance and now that I really understand and appreciate how you're treated and feel, I will go out of my way to make you feel equal and valued in every sense of the word. 😢❤

Hey Nancy, you are somewhat a breath of fresh air. Lol you don’t have to go out of your way because of your thoughts. Given the fact that your thoughts where a taught and learned behavior all you need do is change them. We don’t need you to roll out the red carpet we are just saying we want to be treated like people. Give the same grace as you would to anyone until they treat different with you. Your a sweet heart so just be that and that’s a great start to an amazing finish😉
Some blacks are great especially in some parts of Africa. But in America they portray gabgsterism much of the time please don't get yourself in any danger it's not worth it.

There was a profound message conveyed that was more about general human behavior than just about racism! The young black man turned white casually walking into a building elevator as a white man and NOT being stopped by the security guy, yet when he came back as himself (A black man) the guard IMMEDIATELY stopped him! However, in BOTH INSTANCES the security man was the SAME MAN and he ALSO was black!!!!!!

Following me around and I’m like dam “brother” you’re really treating me like I’m a criminal and you’re black yourself. It was such a shame and it messes with me but I can’t change who I am. I’m black it is what it is. I will always hold my head high even when faced with that type of discrimination for no reason at all.
