Love what Brian said- people constantly subordinate others but if we all saw each other as equally valuable we wouldn’t treat each other and the world as we do.

So many people in America myself included were raised with”religion “ instead of being open to feeling god in our lives. Not just for miracles or asking god to move for us in our idea of what should be. When you open your heart and mind you’re better able to understand god and stop praying for things that are not his Devine plan and sometimes that includes healing. I am growing to accept and be thankful for what god puts in my life. All things can work for good. It doesn’t mean that we will feel good about everything that we encounter

There are souls on this planet who have not incarnated as many times as other souls. So they have more to learn. These are the ones who embrace religious dogma; it gives them a feeling of security because religion supplies the answers, or so they think. They are fearful, so they expect everyone to believe the same way they believe. I don't share my beliefs with them because I know that I had to travel my own path to the level where I am now. It's a process and a journey. It's what we were sent here for: to learn.

God answers our prayers. We may have played a part but he answers our prayers. This whole sentence I typed sounds like an appropriate phrase for a Christian related commercial.

Oprah, thank you for making this episode of your show available once again. I have an incredible life, where God is of great importance. I'm agnostic, having examined belief systems. Would ask God : what is my purpose? I wouldn't expect him to reply, as I wouldn't ask for his time, but I hope the answer would be revealed. I try my best to be a good person ❤

This was an interesting show. The truth is, God is so real and loving. There's also that spiritual funk that's going no where if you hold on to GOD our Creator. Nobody can limit God or cast God out, so God will be there.😇😁😁🤗

Is it just me or does Oprah think she’s above God and his scripture?
@rev.jeffradcliff86838 ай бұрын
Of all the Oprah shows I've watched over the years (and rewatching now) I've never once gotten the sense that she feels she's above anyone, let alone God. That's totally not the message I've ever received from her.

All of this is great, but I think people’s need to unify spirituality actually works against them. Spirituality is a subjective experience. Sure we can talk and share, but everyone’s spiritual experience is first hand. Sharing what you feel shouldn’t be the threat people make it.

Why is she trying to convince agnostic people to believe in god? Please accept everybody’s point of view… geeez

The lady sounds like she believed in God though. What she was describing was God. It doesn’t have to be called God though. God, Universe, Source, All, One, Higher Power, Energy its all connected and its LOVE. She was just trying to get her to understand that.

Kathy says that she will love and embrace those who don't believe what she does but her God probably would not. How does that make sense though? Isn't she then placing her own ideals above God's view of right and wrong. What is to stop God for condemning her then?

You sound like you serve a roman or Greek God -they were petty and vindictive too -how small -I think the point is Oprah actually believes in God who by definition is infinite -why would a infinite being be jealous and small minded and human.. surely the point is God is more then us? She didnt say she doesnt want a jealous God, she said she doesnt belive in a jealous God -I actually think what you said is a type of blasphemy coz it makes God small and shows a lack of imagination/making God in your own image -surely the point of God is they are more?

The arrogance… as if any of us can presume that God doesn’t care what He is called! This is scary commentary that is highly irreverent. Lord forgive them for they know not what they do.
@Alice-ot5hc Жыл бұрын
I think its the opposite of arrogance.. I think believing God cares what they are called makes God small and why would an infinite God be so small? I think it's the opposite to arrogance, it's apt an infinite being won't be thin skinned and can cope I think is the point
