I resonate with Oprah Winfrey on many levels. From a practical standpoint, I've come to understand that happiness can sometimes seem elusive, and the act of constantly questioning our state of happiness can be a waste of time, just like feeling envy. So, why compare ourselves to others? In this incredible journey called life, I've realized that not everyone will experience a comfortable and secure existence, and that's the reality. But, here's the inspiring part: Amidst the suffering and hardships that many face, it's essential to find a place within yourself where you are free. Make peace with this inner sanctuary and adorn it with your unique aesthetic. Create a window and a door, to which only you hold the keys, and take flight. It might be tough at the beginning, but through the trials of inner peace and deep breaths, you'll come to realize that nothing can compare to the power of the present moment. Om Shanti

Wow Edward . Just wow . Thank you for this word . As I try to navigate my own despair in this moment I understand it’s just that a moment . And I have so many other experiences and memories awaiting me on the other side . And as I walk this road , I’ll keep what you wrote in mind . To make that place of inner sanctuary and nourish that place inside me that yearns to be free . One day my friend. Love and blessings to you and your family ❤

The reason why Finland & Norway, and some other places that people are happier than in U.S expects less is because, they have very good secure social system in their country. They don’t have to worry about going to doctors and dentists and figure out how to pay bills. The reason why especially in U.S, people pursue higher achievement is because that’s how social system works to survive. If you are an average person, you will never feel or be enough as long as you live in this social system & culture.

Yes this is completely true. And in addition, there is a fame-culture in the US that does not exist to the same extreme in Scandinavia at all. Fame is a social construction that not only destroy the lives of many of those who become 'famous', but it creates a weird and fake striving towards being seen, being famous, thinking this enriches your life, and this striving creates a never enough-ness too.

I agree when happiness is in you, nothing can disturb that utopian, disappointments, madness, even grief are temporary moments of negative emotions. When my mother passed, I thought the grief would sit still in my heart, that there would be nothing else to feel. I visited a waterfall to be in my grief. It was a cloudy day. When I arrived, just above the waterfall, the clouds receded, and the sun emerged, bold and bright. It was the most beautiful transition; I felt the warmth of its rays touch my face. I knew the constant happiness within me made it possible for me to see and feel something so much bigger than myself. And I knew from that very moment I would be okay. Oh, I still have days of missing her, tears that fall with no warning; but it is my constant state of happiness reminding me, I am so blessed she was a part of my life and that her love lives on in my heart.

Exactly, and knowing what to do to get peace of mind.... I always did like Oprah, she's right... The key is being able to identify negative feelings so you can change them. I consider myself to be happy in general, and I know what makes me happy and where that goes but there are negative feelings I have to conquer as well. The only way to that is to identify the problems they're linked to so I can fully resolve those problems by dealing with them directly. Doing that puts me on the road to improving my level of happiness. The first major step I took to doing that was getting rid of all my conventional social media accounts. Because just like Oprah and many other accredited sources open state, social media is responsible for Americas downturn in happiness and upturn in nastiness... Try to Google why the super wealthy give far less than the avg person. They live in a completely different world and mentality that is as convincing psychologically as why the poor would give far more despite having little. To do neither at least momentarily, step out of the matrix, and listen to the inner guide/the synchronistic insights from encounters.. that is extraordinary.. and then to come back do something much more deep and unusual than the surface expectations. That is truly saintly and changes people in a way beyond the "good" vs "bad" into a place where neither matter when compared to the devastating truth and love that we are inside. To touch upon such place and ask what kind of wrapping shall I give this gift? Consciousness is dressing up as many characters and thoughtforms. We love the play no matter what and we are 100x more baddass and loving that we lead ourselves to believe. We can create happiness now even with horrible injuries and no place to go.. inner radiance can reframe everything in one heartbeat. Oprah is neither more or less capable than any person in terms of this auric radiance on deeper levels. At our core, we are darn near psychic in intimacy. Prosperity through cooperation can be done overnight for the whole world. We love each other more than tantric lovers. Everything Else is illusory play Life is suffering and difficult by choice - 99% true. Go Jim Carey crazy on reinterpreting towards happiness unconditionally and take care of life well.m Google how to get into flow state. Thank you for this thought train. I love you.

In the interview:- envy is described as the happiness killer. I say Envy is more dangerous to have than jealousy... can write the second installment of the book.. helping & trying to explain exactly what i mean by that..🤞🏽 The interview was exceptional. Although I don't necessarily support or agree with everything that was shared/said on the interview:- but a lot of what was said (it is the way it is:- about life & people.. reading the book and watching the interview, can spark some new levels of understanding the uncertainties and how to go about your everyday life. At times people take talk as cheap..! I say talking is therapy on it's own:- each time, you begin to open your mouth. That's expression:- from you opening your mouth & talking we can pick or our now able to make sense or to understand.. how a person is..? Do they sound mind sharp? Does the person make enough sense.. what are they expressing..? what sort of bars/radio/communication waves are they sending.. does the person sound like they ok..? Do they sound happy?? For us to understand if you happy/sad/feeling down/going through a lot e.t.c. actions not all the time can really be sport on. But once a person begins to open their mouth.. that's step one.. it means we going/ can go somewhere with this person.

Free to know your body and own your health and free to be secure about your environment and overall accomplishments in love or individuality. When you have accomplished the true meaning of FREEDOM, then and only then can you be truly HAPPY because it is then when you are FREE from WORRY. Worry repels happiness. Yet people in countries with far less economic success than ours are much happier. I lived in Peru for several months, and the happiness and contentment of the people, who had next to nothing, was a real eye-opener for me. I'm old now, and have been through ups and downs in the economy. Her comments about our expectations being so high were spot on. Giving up responsibility for your "happiness" to those things you can't control is what will bring you down. Oh, and I totally agree that many people are struggling right now. And many own so much stuff that there are self-storage facilities springing up everywhere so they can store their crap. This disparity is the problem. The reporter shaking her head alongside Oprah talking is super annoying 😂 and Oprah is out of touch with ‘regular’ people so she can just stop pretending now 😂😂😂😂

I was thinking the same thing and imagining how annoying she was for Oprah. Oprah is in touch with Oprah which all she is capable of truly. same goes for us being in touch with her or anyone else.

Well for many Americans happiness is linked to resources or Maslow's basic needs which I feel she omits. People in Scandinavian countries are happy because they have trust with their government and their basic resources are provided for them. I do agree that social media has made us less happy and yes hustle culture, but right now many of us are forced to hustle to survive.

The interviewer is so enthralled with Oprah. It’s kinda weird. She literally is looking for validation through her reactions.

Oprah looks good. Her eyeglasses always compliment what she is wearing. I just love her sense of style.
