E V I don’t think that’s the case, I believe that he was willing to pay for it due to the fact that it came from a ‘reliable’ source. Of course, he is too naive to believe it without any concrete proof, however, he felt that he was really responsible for the inconvenience for his customer and that actions for his part has to be taken. I actually respected him, to me, he is naive, and that’s probably why at the very beginning, he was so aggressive and seemingly view all of what Lulu says as a scam.
