The man definitely knows how to build house, he has a great eye for design, as a Civil Engineer myself I do love design that works like its supposed to, you would be amazed at some of the simplest things that don’t work or just irrelevant due to bad design. Everything in this house has had a lot of thought and attention to detail put into it, it’s great and Nile came across as a decent humble and fun sort of guy in this video. I enjoyed this one.

That's exactly correct. He subconsciously didn't want to finish The One and have to sell it. The full story on The One is that it was never sold for the desired price or sold at all because it was never completed. He kept running out of money trying to complete it and asking for ever more loans to finish. This went on for 160 million dollars in loans in multiple rounds from multiple investors, all the while he is living in The One himself and partying in it for almost 10 years. Then pressure is put on him to make the economics work and he starts claiming he can turn The One into a giant theatre or arena type space for epic events for pay per view, which conveniently he will manage.

I’ve learnt an important life lesson. Not to judge a book by its cover. I found Nial difficult to watch in the One, but today a real pleasure and such an interesting character. I found his art fascinating and having been to LA a number of times, I have seen one of the anatomically correct giraffe sculptures in a property and was astounded. Today watching Nial and his art I am amazed that one property can have such a great collection of pieces. Shame it’s not a place I can visit as I would fly out in a heartbeat. I think I have seem my dream home, just need to be able to afford it. Humbling and impressive at the same time

Damn Nile's house looks so nice. The bamboo trees in the entrance/driveway, the big and open livingroom with the water areas, lower pool area and all the art pieces are all amazing. This feels like a proper home for someone very wealthy. Large and well designed, but not too big either. The One is insanely big and feels more like a resort for the elite than actual home due to the sheer size. Nile's home feels so cozy, even if it's a mansion for a super-rich. Nile is very good at building houses, but seems like he kept the best gem to himself.
