I actually grew up in/near Omak WA on my family’s cattle ranch lol long time no see 😂 learned how to drive truck there from a sweet little old lady who was a long haul truck driver for years. Inspired me to go flatbed and pursue heavy haul which is still in the works lol

Motor Town: Behind the Wheel is a cute little job life sim. It's got everything from trucking to Police gameplay. There's a free demo as well. And you have to work up from low end to higher end vehicles. For instance, trucking starts with a pickup, and slowly work your way to semi's.

Love this series and as someone from the UK, love the accent! Adds a real charm to the proceedings. This weekend, I bought my first truck after doing lots of job market work so I didn't have to take a loan. I got the International Lone Star with the 200hp and a 13 speed, to which I added dual stacks and after reaching Level 11, a paint job. So much enjoyment playing this sim and I've barely scratched the surface. Will attempt my first owner driver job this week.

Ad blocker should be used for the external ATS mod site. Usually, the pattern is once you hit download it may send you to a crappy site. Just close that. Then click download again and then you will get the download that you specifically went there for.

Drop deck has the most variety of load option in my experience if you have enough truck to pull 30k+ loads. I regularly get long haul high value loads that pay $90k plus vanilla rates. I'll have to load up the economy mods and see how I do.

There's no way semi drivers do the pre/post trip check. I see plenty of semis whose lights don't work (especially to the trailer, which is a tad alarming) or whose blinkers/indicators don't work at all for one side or the other. I've also seen plenty of trucks where one of their headlights is out (especially noticeable at night).

I know you're playing realisticly but how realistic is it when something happens due to AI and it's not your fault? lol

I am doing the same thing in a new profile but I am using the Mack R truck. Using the the mods to except I took the traffic mod out because it seemed to be way to much traffic. I might need to check and see where the traffic is set in my cinfig file. Where should it be in the config?
