My goal will be (since I haven't even started my business yet) to have the best equipment when I start and buy a backup of each piece in case of breakdowns..I'm gonna stay owner operator because it's a pain to train someone else to do the job correctly...my son's don't care to help with the business so I'm on my own..I just want enough work to pay the bills and load up the truck and go camping when I want.

Employees will never work as hard as you will for your own Company. they can quickly destroy what you spend years building.

We have 9 employees and at this point I would say each one of them works as hard as I do and because they're well trained they love working for this business because they're well-paid in fact one of my guys today started at 6am and didn't finish till 5pm and did spectacular work now granted he made $900 so it was worth it to him. I got a good Payday 2 and I didn't have to be there. set the example and others will follow teach people to do well. put Faith in them. tell them that you're proud of them. And they will appreciate you and be loyal and work their butt off.

I want to grow my Southern California carpet company to at least 2-3 trucks but it’s been 4 months and at least I’ve got the equipment I need shoved into a car with no seats. That’s my “work truck” but thank you for the direction it’s a huge help for me

I run one truck now used to run two & had a third as a back up & during my busy season but after covid I went down to one truck honestly I really enjoy it after 20 years money isn't much different mainly don't have as much time foe myself but other than that I think I'll stay this way for a few years then reevaluate things

I find that owners who never expand or increase advertising is because there knowledge of the business is limited and they never want to learn. like my boss. he has a good company but doesn't want to expand. he also handicapped with no legs.

How does he know this business without legs

Training, training, training. You aren't a master technician for at least 10 years cleaning.
