With ones like the Fellow pourover it can create some channeling because of the multiple holes in the bottom. I go for the V60 or W60 from Hario the Switch is also amazing.

As long as you have a nice gooseneck kettle I think V60 makes the ultimate coffee. With a great clarity.

Great sit down vlog. I use the chemex pour over. With chemex pour over it’s all in one. Don’t need the carafe and the brewing tool or what ever it’s called. All I need is a filter and a scale. Of course a cup.

Bonde, thank you for the information. It was insightful, particularly the site of internationalbarcodes. Are you planning to open a coffee shop as well? I like your optimism, looking at the future with a bright outlook. May your dream come through, as you wish it.

Fellow for sure..hey quick question what size do you use for the boxes. For a single bag or double bag purchase? Nice work. Thank you.

@@bonde.johnson It is the small things that add up... When I had my restaurant, I had stop making the hot rolls and started buying them... didn't think it would be that much difference... at the end of the year, I caught it... 5 cents difference (counting labor, time, material) and I lost $613. So I should have adjusted those few pennies into the cost of the plate of food. Just like most people do NOT know that a Glass of Water cost $0.36 to make! It's not Free...

I'm from Papua New Guinea and have been buying and selling organic green beans from my home province of Morobe for the last two years. I am looking to establish a home based roasting and packaging business for drop shipping/E- commerce client base going forward. I'm inspired by your videos and hope to keep in touch going forward.

Well done you have come a long way! Just started watching your videos very helpful indexed. (I'm binge watching): I'm currently in process of starting my online coffee business. Any tips for me in Toronto, as far as coffee suppliers and packaging & labeling? Also looking for a reliable and economical mug manufacturer. That I can put my logo on to offer as an accessory in my store.

HEY there! I'm in the process of my own roasting coffee adventures! I still have a while to go before I can start roasting. However, to answer your question, I prefer the design of the Hario pour-over device. With other models, I encounter a (seal problem) and always increase the timing of my pour, and I have to go and fix it, It is a small problem, but With the Hario, I have never had a problem. The raised ridges in the device make all the difference, and the price is unbeatable. Thank you for the content!

Hello! That’s so awesome to hear- hopefully you can get roasting soon! It is a very rewarding endeavor. I agree with you. I love the way the Hario is designed and functions. Fellow has a much flatter bed so I will find that the water doesn’t disperse as evenly as I pour🤷🏼‍♂️ might have mind my mind changed haha Thank you for the comment and good luck with everything!

Hey there, I have found your video very helpful for someone who is thinking of getting into coffee business. Are you guys putting an ad on FB or IG? How do people find your website? Do you get a traffic with out an ad?
@bonde.johnson

Hey Hirut! Initially, a lot our business was word of mouth--as is true with many small businesses. We have moved into more conventional advertising utilizing local newspapers, sponsoring events, other more interactive means to make our brand more personal as we grow. Hope that helps!

Great information. I wish you the best with your coffee company. Thank you for sharing. I’m in the process to start my own coffee company. I will sell my coffee everywhere possible. Question? What permits if any do I need to sell coffee on Amazon? Or to sell to local stores?
@bonde.johnson
@bonde.johnson 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Carlos! I appreciate the kind words. Very exciting you're getting things underway! As far as permitting, it really just depends on size and logistics of the operation. I have a video on the specifics of what license and permits you need but keep in mind it can vary county to county and even your specific neighborhood. Good luck with everything!

Can I ask the question? Outside of your package is paper or plastic?
@bonde.johnson
@bonde.johnson 4 жыл бұрын
Of course! The outside of our bags is kraft! So technically a kind of paper that is made with high elasticity and high tear resistance from www.pbfy.com
@RubyContentwriter
@RubyContentwriter 4 жыл бұрын
@@bonde.johnson in February. You begin to make coffee package is it plastic bag? I just watched the episode2 and I think it is plastic bag.
@bonde.johnson
@bonde.johnson 4 жыл бұрын
@@RubyContentwriter So our bags are made of the following compounds from the certificate of authentication KRAFT / PET / ALU / LLDPE- PET: Polyester film, highly suitable as the outer layer for various compounds. ALU: Aluminium foil. LLDPE: Linear low-density polyethylene. Often mixed with LDPE, to achieve a better hot-tack in sealing. That is the full composition of the bags! There is no true paper or plastic, although the kraft looks as if it is paper. It is also only on the outside of the bags. Hope that clears things up!

Hey Andrew! Yes coffee roasting companies can be very profitable-- with minimal capital needed and low overhead you can turn not a lot of money into a lot of money. Much of the business is properly situating yourself online. Social media can make a business!

@@bonde.johnson thank you very much, i have been doing lots of research to decide whether my company would be roasting or partnering up with a local roaster and then reselling under my own brand. With roasting it yourself, how much are you able to make a 1lb bag for? If you don't wanna answer that on here let me know and I'll give you my email.

@@andrewcoskey3679 I don't mind at all! These are the kinds of things I like to share with people publicly. I have a video coming out tonight that breaks down the cost of starting a coffee roasting company as well as the profit and cost breakdown of each bag. But just to give you reference-- a 12oz bag of our coffee costs us ~$5 and we sell for $12.50 which is still on the cheap side. Some companies sell 12oz bags for $19+ hope that helps!
