This is a manual roast of 450 grams of Columbian Supremo So far the best roast I have done, with the Skywalker drum roaster. You Can roast great coffee without software, just use a pen and paper.

Thank you!!! I needed this as I am trying to figure out my Skywalker. I have an arduino nano with one end plugged into roaster and the other end into the laptop, which allows me to run roaster using artisan scope. I will try your settings on my next roast which also will be a columbian. If you are interested in hooking up to artisan let me know and I will forward all the info. Thanks again. I really enjoyed this video and will checkout your channel. Peace.

Great video! I hadn't heard of this roaster before, so I enjoyed learning about it as you roasted!

Nice! i've done 1 roast on my skywalker so far and just used one of the auto settings (32 i think). Turned out pretty good, but its nice to see a fully manual run through!

I have seen several roasters like this online from Amazon and Alli express. Where did you purchase this one and are you still happy with it? Thank you for the video

Can you see inside where the thermocouple is actually measuring temp, seems yiu might be low by 25-30 degrees ,,,anywhere you can add an addition Thermocouple to verify bean temp?

Good video, Thx. Do you know if the manufacturer is shipping models with the updated board now?

Yes ...to prevent the overheating problem.

Been eyeing this roaster for awhile, but no one really had a good video. Thanks for doing the video. I think the max capacity is 400g for this roaster. Is the profile you did for the roasting good for a Brazilian Bourbon bean? If you could try it would be great as I like the taste of choc/nut of Brazil beans.

Not sure if that would work with those Brazilian beans, I'd try it and dump the beans when they look right
