This car is a remarkable effort if you consider that it's been engineered and built from scratch, meaning 100% New content. Some people don't realize that all other competitors start to an already mature project and components that have been already tested to some extent during the previous generations. This car is totally new: project, components, building process...everything. It's a huge achievement by Alfa to be able to pit yourself (and look good) against the competition already as of the first builds.

I used to own an Alfa 8C spyder.....and it had its issues but it was sooooo beautiful. Same holds true here. There is nothing like driving an Italian car.....they have soul....they are stupefacente! Best of luck....and drive safely!

Hate to spoil your new car. But Alfa is known in Europe as expensive car that always breaks down and needs expensive repairs. Although it looks amazing and better than predecessor. So I would sell the car after 60K ml (100K km) on the clock.

Really good to see an owners perspective, particularly such an unbiased owner who doesn't mind pointing out the minor faults. The Quadrifoglio Verde was used for the first time by the Alfa Romeo driver Sivocci, who painted on both sides of his car before racing the Targa Florio in Sicily...... a hell of race, without compromises, as utterly dangerous and insane as we Italians can be. He won the race and from that day on , every car he drove had this symbol painted on both sides......

AutoAvanti The problem is that due to heavy taxing in luxury sports cars in Greece the price of Giulia Quadrifoglio in Greece is 120.000€ which is A lot ! So it's a dream car metaphorically and literally most probably.. The sound of the gearbox / exhaust when you start the car and speed up a bit in the begining of the Video...!!!!!!!!!!!... Omg ... Love the car. And thank you for the video - interesting info. One thing though the engine isn't from a Ferrari California. The Alfa one is a V6 not a V8 like the California and the displacement is also smaller, but the people from Ferrari did have a big hand in developing the unit that sits in the Alfa.

Hello,first:great review for a great car! But one advice:you should use the Paddle shift gear box if i remeber well in Race mode you can only use this,and it's crazy...and you can stay FLAT on the gas and gear up,great sensation! also you said something that's not really true/exact dont how to say sorry: it's about the engine: it's not the engine of the Ferrari California,the ferrari got a V8 4.3 with 460HP(and 490HP on the evo2) and the ALFA got a V6 Bi-Turbo 2.9 with 510HP...but it is a colab Ferrari/Alfa engineering,and it's great! Good job!

Thanks! I basically drive her either on Dynamic for everyday use (around the low 20s MPG). If you drive in Advance Efficiency you could easily get at least 30 MPG.

If I can suggest you something, buy a clip-on microphone on amazon, they're really cheap, good quality and can improve your voice clarity a lot. If you find difficult to synchronise the audio tracks on the editing or you just don't wanna spend money, at least tell your cameraman to watch his fingers, because he's putting them on the camera microphone! As the camera audio is still a bit confused, when you'll have a better quality try putting some background music in all the clips, people usually like it. Improve a bit the editing, do more cuts and refilm the scenes where you had talking issues. I'm just an average viewer so don't take me as an hater, I still love the video and the Giulia! Continue filming, you've got a lot of potential (Vai così che sei forte ;D!)
