Nice bike! I have a 1968 commando that I am working on. All new bearings, electrical brought up to snuff, New brakes, rebuilt forks, new isoelastic mounts and re-enforced the widow maker frame. Down to the engine and transmission and then paint and other cosmetics. Mine has a 1972 engine and the front end is from a later model with disc brake so it is not all original. It was somewhere around the 820th Commando to come of the assembly line. I also converted all the lighting to positive ground LEDs. Enjoy that fine piece of history. Cheers BJ in Canada

That's a beautiful machine... considered doing the same paintwork on my own '69. :)

@@brucegoldsmith3721 it does seem to catch everyone’s attention. I bought it in those colours and tbh that’s what caught my eye. Thanks for your comments

The final batch of 850 Commandos sold in Canada in 1975/76 came in the JPN colours. I should have bought one!

You’ll never get decent braking with the front brake arm at that angle.

Lovely bike ! I'm a Big Norton fan only for the classic ones, i've no interest in the modern ones plus i think they are to expensive ♥️👍💪😉😀😁🏁🏍️🛺🐑🇵🇭🏴⭐
