I love the fact that some of the straight aggro decks will just scoop turn 3 or 4 against this. A good authority of consuls in the opening hand is swell also. Another great video sir.

@carlwillingham2047 I considered the Authority, but lately, I've played less against aggro, which is a welcome change. It's still around enough that I need all of the removal, but I was able to balance the deck more towards other decks, mainly black discard, hence all the card draw.

@@bobibrews Hopefully my patterns will turn to be less aggro as well. That would be a welcome change. I'm like you, I like a game with thoughtful decision making, not just SMASH, BASH!

I'm also playing an Azorius Control deck that's quite similar to your list! I just love the archetype and gameplay. Quick question though: is there a specific reason you're not running No More Lies?

@carlinorandagio No More Lies was the toughest card to leave out. I love it. But, I decided to control the board instead of spells. There are too many cheap decks where a No More Lies is "late" at two mana or it counters something that's cheaper than it, so not a great use of mana. Think red aggro, bunnies, faerie, etc. I think it's not as good with all those decks around. But it's definitely still great against everything else, so it's not bad to include it, I just chose not to.

luv this deck! I like to play 4 High noon's, aggro usually scoops early making it a sub 5 min game :) I also have one red mana, and 4 demolition fields to get that red so I can sac the noon's for an alternate win condition if Jace doesn't pan out.

@1adamantium1 High Noon is awesome, and not just for aggro, but for all the crazy Omniscience players out there. 😅 I could see taking out the whales for High Noon. They haven't been as clutch as I was expecting. They're definitely useful and have won me some games, but they can be taken out.

Great deck! Regardless of whether Azorius Control can keep up with the meta at this stage, it is still my favorite deck to play. The only card I‘m missing in this deck is Farsight Ritual. If I were to add it, what should I remove in your opinion? And how come you decided to not play it? Wouldn‘t it allow you to have bit more control? Looking forward to your thoughts, and thanks for the great content, Bobi!

@le.bouc.fringant I'm just not a fan of Farsight Ritual. I always compare it to Memory Deluge and feel it doesn't live up to it. You'll notice I prefer Silver Scrutiny. If the deck had more token generators (Mirrex, Fountainport), then the Farsight Ritual becomes better than the Silver Scrutiny and you can swap that out. I also tend to play very slow control and rarely attack with the Restless Anchorage so I don't make many maps.

@@bobibrews My thoughts exactly. I really miss good old Memory Deluge (and don't even let me start to talk about how much I miss The Wandering Emperor 😔), and Farsight Ritual cannot live up to it. See, I was missing Mirrex in the deck. I kicked out two Restless Anchorage and swapped them with two Mirrex, which allowed me to snatch some wins by poisoning my opponents who were playing cautiously fearing all the counterspells I was greedily holding onto. Interestingly, I could see by the way they were playing that they were expecting No More Lies, and this deck hasn't got any. Thanks for your reply, Bobi!

Came to say this. You destroy both lands then ninus 30 them they have 1 card left which is drawn on upkeep meaning the preacher cant attack and they die on end step
