You’re an amazing teacher, and your videos are easy to follow. I appreciate that there are no distractions like loud music in the background. You make things look deceptively simple, lol, but after trying my hand at several of your pieces, it’s not as difficult of an art to do as I had feared. Still takes me twice as long to do it, but that’s part of the fun. Thank you for your tutorage.

Excellent tutorial! You are a very good teacher. Have been wanting to wrap a couple of hearts and had no idea how to do it. I'm a silversmith and I just substituted the wire I had. 20 and 22 gauge dead soft silver worked just fine, although your square wire looks so much better and lays flat more easily. Thank you!

My friend gave me a glass heart that her deceased son carried in his pocket and I held onto it waiting for the perfect piece of jewelry for her. Her son had kidney problems, 2 transplants, lots of health issues yet he managed to finish school, have a computer tech job, he had an amazing kind personality. He was his families patriarch. When you separate the bail wires it reminds me of a crown, that is why I chose your piece. Thank you ❤️

I'm hesitant to invest in the wire bc I don't know if I'll be good at it, but I want to thank Oxana for her generosity because even though she shows us how to make these, she's still a successful shop owner. Spreading the love doesn't hurt her business! It's harder than it looks and I think a fair amount of wire gets recycled in the learning process. I'm glad she finally mentioned the Zuron brand name tools because I couldn't find those pliars anywhere.

Hello, I’m learning and it isn’t easy but like anything that’s worth doing it’s really worth spending a little and practicing so give it a try. Who knows, you just might be amazing!

Hi Skye! I have been where you are and I now sell my creations. Don't be afraid to invest if you really do have an interest! It's so satisfying once you master it. Believe me, when I first started I went through a lot of wire, but once you learn the basics, other techniques become easier. I would recommend getting some extra wire in the same size she is using, but purchase round. You will save money, because square and half round will be more expensive. Once you feel comfortable, buy the more expensive wire. Hope this helps!

I didn’t understand where you purchased your wire can you let me know. Also what do you do so the copper does not turn someone’s skin green
@OxanaCrafts Жыл бұрын
I got my wire from riogrande.com Copper pendants have never turned my skin green, I think it is more of a problem for rings where they constantly rub against the skin. You could possibly coat the copper with something to prevent this, but it would get rid of the copper's medicinal properties

I have some tutorials that use round wire. If you are going to try to make this design in round, for the thin wire I'd get 28 gauge and do weaving pattern instead of just wrapping around to hold the bigger wires so it doesn't unravel.
