Love your videos. Little FYI if there’s a point /facet at the bottom of faceted stone it’s called a cullet “ que-let” Looking forward to to trying your design a few of my faceted stones. Thank for sharing your terrific talent with us. Enjoy your week ❤️❤️❤️🌈🦋

Thanks for the info! I don't work with faceted stones often so did not know that.
@kendrarhea9573 жыл бұрын
Beautiful... something that may help is to use a thick cloth that the round side can be kind of pressed into the cloth will hold it still... could also probably use a kind of rubber or silicone mat to hold the stone on to keep it from slipping as you shape the wire around... just a coupla thoughts that might help.

The pendant is beautiful ! I’ve never worked with a faceted pendant because of the domed and sometimes pointed backs. I’m wondering if now that it is wrapped will it lay flat and not fall left or right when worn? Thanks Oxana. 😊

@OxanaCrafts2 жыл бұрын
There are some pricing calculators out there if you Google that can help it. They will ask you to input things like price of your stone and your wire and how much time you spent and the hourly wage you want to pay yourself.

Good to know! I almost never work with half hard wire so didn't know that you can't twist it.

If you have a towel or bead cloth under your work what you drop won't bounce out of reach and possibly get lost.

That's a good tip, I record just in my kitchen so I have good lighting, but when I work it is at my desk in the living room and I have put a piece of linoleum flooring underneath my desk because the flooring in my living room is tile and my stones were falling and breaking, but the linoleum is nice and soft and they don;t break now
@moonbubbles3046 Жыл бұрын
You don’t have to do it in the air. Just lay the stone on the table flat side down.
