Haha sorry for the ramble in advance but... I was literally talking about this yesterday. It’s a weird place to be right now traveling and living our best life meanwhile the worlds locked down peoples lives are being changed in ways we probably don’t fully understand and in some cases loosing loved ones. It’s a hard thing to justify but the one caveat to all of it is what a waste it’d be to scrap it all based on a feeling of guilt. As long as we keep it all in perspective and show our appreciation for the experience we have meanwhile trying to bring a little light and love into those who follow our journey is all we can really do.

Thanks for sharing your adventure with all of us! I hope those kinds of problems never arise on your rig again, but it sure made for an exciting episode.

Not a hobby but a way of life, we all have set backs and breakdowns but them inconveniences help define our trips and make them memorable for years to come.

Well said my friend. I agree it’s only through struggle we make our fondest memories

@@oxoverlandfamilyadventures4656 oftentimes these memories are tied in with the mess the kids made in the back seat with cheetos and cheap sodas lol

Man I’m surprised you didn’t get the Doug thorley headers.
@oxoverlandfamilyadventures46563 жыл бұрын
I definitely thought about it but the modifications needed to make them work would’ve made stock headers unusable and since it’s a known issue and we’re traveling abroad I spent the extra$$ on stock

@@adelinenicholas922 hey we all start sometime and somewhere. My advice is always explore first modify later once you hit the trails you’ll know what your truck needs to take it further next time!!

O crap my header broke in the same spot on my 07 GX, shit is a bitch to remove the header. I'm going Doug Thorley as soon as they are back in stock. IG Darkstar_Overland

Nice let me know how you like them!! I thought about it but with traveling abroad I wanted to be able to replace them if it ever happened again.
