Oxford fan here but born in Truro and lived in the shadow of Home Park when I was too young to remember so I always keep an eye on Argyle. Your video was very long but loved the visceral frustration of supporting a struggling EFL team, you had me laughing in sympathy with your outro attempts as Oxford have been there all too much over the past 25 years. A much purer experience than supporting a Man U or Man City who win every week….. oh 😂 Shame about Rooney as I think anyone would’ve struggled with your squad and injuries, but football is a business and money is ruthless. I’m old enough to have watched him from his stunner against Arsenal for Everton and bumped into him in Brussels airport recently as we were both taking our lads to play in football tournaments. He was very gracious with my boy and gained my respect as both a player and a man. Good luck for the rest of the season. I hope you finish 1 place behind the mighty yellows 💪

Harvey is spot on! No point pointing fingers at Rooney and giving him that much stick it’s your Board not investing and backing Rooney with bringing right players in. Should be blaming the board more than you should Rooney imo

Blues fan here. My friend, I can assure you nobody from my club is laughing at you. Personally I am sad that your owners took no notice at what Rooney did to our club. Unless Argyle do something very soon, you will be swapping places with us. Best of luck for the rest of the season, if you keep Rooney, you are going to need more than luck. KRO Update....Sacked. Someone else will take him on though. Owners will never learn. Seduced by the "big" name. At least you have time to avoid the drop. Good luck.

Coventry fan still watching from afar The Rooney experience is now over and it can't be a bad thing for your club The injuries did not help but it looks like the dressing room doesn't seem with him and that's a recipe for relegation You got promoted on the back of the striker and the goalie and both are playing for you and the difference is obvious I would love to see you and your great fans remain in the championship but realistically it may not happen

Absoloutely embarrassing mate if we get Schuey back it just means nothing it just means we might have a chance but Rooney has been a season to forget and our away form was so much better away from home under foster and at home and Rooney is the completely opposite to that terrible but happy new year!
@CornishJannerPlymouthFanTV9 күн бұрын
I don’t want Schuey back to be honest because it just shows the clear ambition of Dewsnip in wanting to hire just his mates and no one else and that’s such a stubborn approach and attitude. I really want a full on change and full on brand new manager after Rooney. Guess time will tell #COYG💚

@@CornishJannerPlymouthFanTVFully understandable l just don’t know if we get Someone similar to Foster l don’t mind that but there’s a chance of schumacher going to West Brom anyway so and l think he will struggle there but all the players that we have signed this season except for Cissoko,Szucs and Grimshaw Imo haven’t made a difference if anything made the situation worse but it just sums up the form we are in but always have belief but l don’t 😂

I really think this season after the Cardiff game the momentum completely dropped and turned out it did but l thought in 2024 only our best performance was by far the Middlesbrough game dominated that and our worst was Cardiff the only reason not Norwich was because we scored and that’s only happened three times this season also QPR away was Hazards best performance for the club and salvaging a point with nine men is ridiculous just to prof how bad qpr have been this year

Rowett, not a proven manager at any level! Nah, one decent spell at Birmingham when they sacked him when in 7th spot, apart from then he's done nothing of any note, won nothing.

Finishing 8th, 11th and 9th in his three seasons at Millwall is very good. He’s got a decent track record of getting Championship teams with limited resources being competitive and sometimes punching above their weight. Hopefully he does the same with Oxford and is able to survive and then consolidate in the league
