Good stuff from Brookes as usual but the commentator keeps getting my son's surname wrong. It is not LaRsen, it is Lassen, my father's surname which is Danish. My mum is Welsh and Toby has also raced in the Welsh team and won in London last year, the first time they have won in an eight team boat in six years. Anyway, back to the plot. Toby in his Temple 8 boat team won it with Brookes last year and this Sunday, his team (4 seat without cox) won this final race. Leander (based at Henley) were a bit in front about one minute in and were trying to catch up near the end but made a steering mistake and Brookes cruised through with nearly two lengths to spare. Toby is in the bow front seat with yellow sunglasses and also steers the boat. Brookes entered seven boats on the final day and actually won ALL seven which is great for them.

Hi Jim - I took some pics at Henley Finals last year, and I got a handful of nice shots of Toby and his boat. I meant to send the pics to the school, but once I got back home (to the USA), I completely forgot about it.
