@oxfordking Ok, so you could get HDR to work? I usually use majorPainTheCactus addon+ Lilium HDR shaders and analysis tool. This enables HDR on SDR content. Worked on Nintendo switch emulators. So it should work on shadps4 as well and pscx3 PS3 emulator

One with rendering floors, where u can see through them other levels and in that same place game crashes on one particular enemy, if u fight him. I started playing with emulator settings and looks like rendering problem gone, but game still crashes on that enemy(good thing u can just ignore him and keep playing). Nevertheless the game looks amazing and running constantly at 40+ fps with some dipps there and there

When downloading the game off of a certain site where the ROMS are FUN (cough cough), there are options to download "Bloodborne v1.09 (DLC and mods)" and "Bloodborne GOTY 1.09." Which do you recommend downloading to follow the tutorial?

Hi! I have a question and need suggestions. I own a PS4 and bought Bloodborne about a year ago when I had PS+, but I never played it. I tried playing it, but the 30fps limit felt horrible after the Dark Souls series and Elden Ring. Now I see that I can play Bloodborne on PC with 60fps using an emulator. Are there any differences between the PS4 and PC versions (other than issues like crashes or sound bugs)? I’ve never used emulators before, so I’m not sure how they compare to the original game. Should I play it on my PS4 or PC? For reference, I have an RTX 3060 GPU.

I have the complete file (29,1 Gigabytes) but when I want to install it, the emulator closes and when I open it again a 11,3 Megabytes "Bloodborne game" appears to be installed (with no progression bar before). Okay so I finished more than half of this game. But when I went beat the DLC Boss Ludwig, there is a mid fight cut scene which game is unable to load and game gets stuck everytime. Is there no solution to this? Can't give this up now even after reaching here

@@allnighter2949 Not crashing. I'll put it this way. If you want to play it unmodded, the experience will be horrible. But if you install the first two mods, the vortex mod and the rainbow fix texture mod, then other than the occasional fps drop, you can play the game comfortably. The only thing that won't work, no matter what you're doing on an AMD CPU, is that certain SFX will be absent. The ones you'll actually notice during a playthrough are 1) there's no fog in the game, 2) items don't have the typical glow/"flame" above them, and 3) your character doesn't get bloodied. Now, the lack of fog sounds bad, but it doesn't really take away much from the experience. The only part of the game that I noticed was made easier is that in Old Yharnam there are two enemies that normally hide in the fog, but are now fully visible. Items (whether static or dropped) have a slight shine to them that you can still see on the ground. There's a small area that's slightly illuminated, so if you know where the items are, you won't miss too much. As for the lack of blood on your clothes, well, as badass as it is to be drenched in your enemies' blood, at least now you can see your fashion choices all the time and you don't literally get dirty 5 seconds after entering an area. So the only really annoying things are that 1) it's hard to loot properly 2) Your fps will often drop, if you have older iron in your pc this drop can be even worse. I have an RTX 2080 and every 10-15 minutes it drops to 5-10 fps for a few seconds. And 3) As you HAVE to install the Vortex mod (you can't live without it, the game is literally unplayable), this mod also has the side effect of not allowing you to change your appearance in character creation. You will be stuck with the base face. You can still change the hair/beard/glasses/colour etc. and the NPCs will look normal too, but you can't change your face. So yeah, that pretty much does it. One last thing, you MUST install the rainbow mod. Normally the game is still full of texture glitches and you would have lots of rainbow coloured textures all over the game. The mod fixes a LOT of this and you will only see a small amount of it. Like Chikage when it has blood on it, the blood itself won't have a proper texture and will be rainbow coloured instead. Edit: So for the item glow, after doing some research I found this mod called "Bloodborne PC SFX Fix All Effects NO Crashes for INTEL" on Nexus. I'd like to give you a link but KZbin REALLY doesn't like it and always deletes my comment no matter how sneaky I am about putting links in my comments. Anyway, ctrl+c ctrl+v it and under the old files category there is an "AMD OG SFX with 3 merged" file. Now for me this one doesn't give the item the glow back, but it does give them that white shiny dot that the game uses for developer massages. You know, like the one you get in the very first clinic room that leads you to a note that says something like "proceed with the hunt" or something like that. Anyway, it's not always perfect, and the ragdoll and other map objects can cover it up, but it's still a massive improvement and 90% of the items are at least visible this way.

@@Steelninja77 I tried first to start the game without the intel fix and the emulator crashes as soon as you try to start the game and I tried it several times and it doesn't work, and then I inserted the intel fix just to see if there would be any difference and there is none. and I wrote the message because oxford king said in the video that if someone tries to write whether it works with amd cards or not.

It's a Tessellation issue (Parallax Mapping) - I think there may be an update out now on this - I'm going to be uploading video progress over on my React channel as I want to keep up with this the best I can. The tutorial will remain the same until the time comes where we won't need mods anymore.

If anyone is crashing after getting hit with the intel mod installed correctly, you just have to give the game a minute to load in and can’t get hit off rip. Also just figured this out but It might also still crash if you load in and an enemy is nearby and you try to attack it!

Try and test it out. My only recommendation is to stick with the Vanilla settings of the game with the original resolution 30fps etc. Try to get the game running first in it's og format before adding things on to increase visuals. Best of luck 👍

Hi, thank you for the beautiful guide! Mine system is working fine, and I have AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, so the intel crash fix works just fine! Sound is all good! However, I didn't expect that my framerate to be so low and inconstant :/ I have a nvidia RTX 2070 Super and 16 GB of Ram. I'm playing with 720p and 900p patch, no motionblur, vsync locked to 60fps. Any clue?

Try running in windowed mode with PS4 Pro mode enabled. Also try disabling Vsync as well. When it comes to performance on older hardware, the only thing one can do is trial and error. Try things you didnt before: test and repeat. Hope you get things running better!

My shadps4 says the Bloodborne I am using is firmware 2.50, and after updating the game to 1.09 the firmware is 3.00 :/

Yeah the version Diego deployed (in the video) is 4.50FW - perhaps check your BB version? That's the only thing I can think of outside of the Emulator itself. Hope you get things sorted out or someone else sees your comment and can better assist.

@@oxfordking Yes! That worked. I got the pkg from a different source and that solved it. Alas fire, item lighting and fog still don't work for me for some reason.

Hmm interesting - I'm using the Diego version right now its working - interesting that it doesn't for you. There was an update today that fixed tessellation and I'm uploading new update video now over on my React channel as that channel isn't tutorials and guides like this one.

@@oxfordking Thanks man i have amd though but the intel fix is supposed to fix it for amd aswell it says it in description. BUT the mod works for me on normal shad ps4 which is strange i will see if it works but rn it freezes my whole computer for like 1 minute and then it crashes

I’m not sure I’d personally wait it’s good but it’s not great from what I’ve seen so far a lot of tweaking and a good amount of bugs I’d wait maybe a couple of months or a year also depending on if you are willing to pirate or not too

Lower the resolution to something like 720p and stay in windowed mode for now. My game crashed whenever I tried high resolutions.

Hello, so I got game files but it's not the PKG file. And I can't add that to the shadps4 menu to change options. When I use Start game option it starts, but still don't add to menu. When I'm making .pkg file from folder, shadps4 can't open it, showing info that it's not proper .pkg file. Someone can help?
