Thanks for uploading these videos (Oxford SBS) thank you so much.. These contents need to be distributed for the benefit of 'mankind' (Clay favorite word :-)).

I am just an software engineer. I have nothing to do with business itself. But I like to learn the things I have not known before. Recently I am really into Clayton's theory. His research is unbelievably astonishing. RIP.

Pretty fascinating how he had the model of how airbnb was going to disrupt the hotel industry before knowing about airbnb.

I guess the 'technological core' in the hote industry essentially is the "stay experience" -- consistency vs unique flavors of the land.

The video is just as relevant today as was four years ago. This day February 09, 2018, better late than never. Where's the bit of video covering Q&A? Lame of the school to not include it. BTW: First talk is always the best because natural expression and uncertainty propel a person forward. "Thank goodness we got it wrong, so that we could get it right." - Clayton Christensen

RIP Clay. His model of a theory is a model of compression, by the way. Encoder-decoder.

Currently taking the class he designed. Made his death much more meaningful. Maybe makes the course more meaningful too.

We've known for hundreds of years how to do research and how to build theory: it's called the scientific method. According to this guy, Einstein, Von Neumann, Galileo, Feynman, Newton have been doing it wrong... If you want to really learn how to do research, learn from a real scientist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4qzkqN7Yph5iNk
