Haha, I admittedly clicked on this having no idea who this guy was, thinking, “I have to know who this beautiful specimen of man is..”, and had to laugh seeing that he was/is a model/actor, and then laugh again seeing all the girls... Aside from the stunning beauty, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Now, I’m off to find these modeling images, and an attempt to find him in a film.. Edit: Had no idea he was in “Magic Mike”, which I’ve not watched, despite the fact that it looks visually... stimulating.. 😂

A decent interview if a little bit off-piste at times. Good to hear he's matured and really taken to his craft by producing his own material and wishing to tell the stories of other people. I get the sense though he may be a little prickly on occasion given his answers. Notice with the blonde haired chap in the front when he asked him about coping with being known for his looks and Alex just sort of scoffs then makes a slightly snarky comment about already answering it and he should've gone to Oxford Brookes. He also seemed happy to be leaving at the end! Anyway good luck to the fella. He has his head screwed on at least.

The Comments: 33% Snobs asking how Oxford Union could stoop to such a "low quality" speaker 33% People saying how much they love him 32% People saying to stop being so mean 1% People talking about what he said It is a bit weird seeing the ratios of people in Oxford, looks like basically just girls but I'm guessing that's because of the male eye candy on display in this one. I do feel like it's an interesting insight into a unique life and career, but I do wonder if that's why all the girls were there.

Interesting choice for interview, but I guess from all the women in the room, there might have been a movement for the invitation. Frankly, he is a bit of a thug. Formal schooling can soften that, thus him leaving school at 15. At least he took the conversation seriously, and appears to be genuine, but of course he is talking about himself; but he is an odd choice for this kind of interview, way too early. His career is modest, and he nearly lost it. Future remains to be seen. Beauty is the ultimate 'privilege', as oxford union demonstrates here.

How can Oxford Union have this quality of speaker! What wisdom has he enlightened us on..using his words.. "no one wants to work with me as I'm a pain in the arse", "I guess I'm a failed actor".. "Wikipedia is a non factual fact site!" Really! He likes collaborating, but only ever seems to use 'I', and he "learned to manipulate people", but wants us to believe he's a changed man over the last few years.. and we are getting what from this speaker. Oxford Union.. shame on you!.. Plus based on his lack of "$100M films I use to do" and quality films he's done lately since upsetting Channing Tatum in Magic Mike, looks like his industry still feels he's still an ass... nice to see how quickly he turned on one of our guests when he was asked a question he didn't like! and someone should tell him 'temetuous isn't a word (tumultuous)!.. oh yes, and again why was he a speaker!
@TheZackarios6 жыл бұрын
Signe Andersen Come on give the guy a break. At least it is a dive into this man's experience being in the film industry, making mistakes, and building from the ground up in a sense through his business. This is a new chapter for the guy and he may well be highly successful in the near future with his new endeavours. It's not exactly the most enlightening talk but at least respect that this man has worked at what you could consider some top level Hollywood, which most people haven't, and therefore his career is an unusual one in an industry where the line between massive success and failure is so close. He's a flawed man and so are you. What snobbery it is to point out his misunderstanding of some words. He humbly made it clear he has had very little education and didn't care for it until he grew up. This may well be a snapshot in a moment of his career before it truly booms. Its an interesting insight, albeit not very enlightening. Give the guy a break.
