They also debated on Russia Ukraine war, Israel Palestine conflict, dangers of AI, etc. Oxford is an academic institution,academia has no boundaries, it is not limited to the borders of UK. It would be rather hypocritical and arrogant of us to take all the praises from foreign countries and call ourselves vishwaguru and then when the same countries criticize us reject the criticism by saying that they shouldn't be involved in our matters.
