what I really like is there is local time on a planet and a universal time. So universal time can be longer than local time, and an example of this from what I seen in a gameplay is that the player slept 8 hours on a planet and it was equivalent of 127 hours passing in universal time.

I just gotta say Ox, your videos are perfect right now. Your slow, methodical pace and attention to detail is exactly what I like to watch AFTER I've been through a quest or whatever. I'm trying to avoid most spoilers for a bit until I finish the game, but I love watching you go through a place I've just been through so I can see all the stuff I missed. 😆 Keep it up!

Bro, I love oxhorn so much!! And I’ve built up about 22 hours on starfield, I love it so much!! I’ve stollen one of the blunter hunter ships and modified it so it’s weapons are op compared to any other ships. Only like level 15/16 but can already take on lv28 ships. I’d really advise others to get the game aswell. I’be just turned on notifications for oxhorn and I’m hoping to finally join one of his lives. I’ve listened to his videos on fallout 4 so much and it’s the only thing that gets me to sleep. Not that he’s boring. He just has one of those voices that is soothing and calming. Anyway! Perhaps this has been mentioned before but your bedroom, at "The Lodge" has an UNLIMITED capacity safe (tall), where you can store Legendary gear in as opposed to selling. Only drawback it is NOT connected with Workbenches, so storing RESOURCES probably not the greatest there. ALSO you have a "Captain's Safe" ACROSS from Ship Cargo which holds a few hundreds pounds in it. "Advanced (receivers) Weapons" are also somewhat rare and considered the best RECEIVERS on a weapon. So far, there doesn't seem to be a way to change out receivers though this is unconfirmed.

Captain's safe should either hold 40 or 150 max, unless that adjustable with the cargo hold size / perk as well.

The advanced weapons are like increased damage variants of their non-advanced counterpart. Similar to Outer Wilds's system where mk 2 and ultra weapons spawn once you reach a certain level. They're identical to the original gun just with slightly better stats. Great system I just wish it went past advanced maybe modders can achieve that

It's making me cringe every time Ox drops a load of weapons, they're so valuable compared to most things in the game and easy to come by, easy money, just drop in the ship's hold.

Ox in case no one mentioned it use scanner to find lootable objects/bodies after combat Edit and you can use companions as loot mules to hold extra loot, adoring fan is great for this as extra points in weight lifting by default

Gotta spin those lock pics all the way around…. Different sized gaps between the slots may fit in one orientation that you aren’t seeing spinning them around only halfway.

For space combat Ox a point in Targeting Control will allow you to target an enemies engines effectively taking them out of the space combat and making it a potential ship boarding action to take the ship and loot. Starfield's VATS in space

Yeah I'm not sure why they're so wedded to the lockpicking mechanic. Personally I never buy a Bethesda game until years after it's been out so I can also purchase any DLC and extensively mod the game, but for this game (like skyrim and fallout 4) I'll definitely be downloading a mod to skip the lockpicking minigame.

Bit contravesial, but I'm finding watching these Starfield play throughs a bit boring. Not oxhorn's fault, he has a good stab at keeping it entertaining esp with the lore aspects. Just the engine seems very dated - FO4 in space. The quests seem a bit bland and repetitious. I just feel like I've seen all of this before. I don't feel that I'd miss anything if I skip a few episodes and come back later. Anyhow, won't be one I'd invest time and money in this time round, but happy to duck back in every now and again to check on progress.

You can tell this game was written over a period of years. Seems like they sprinkled in dialog to appease the "social justice warriors" as they wrongly call themselves. Probably written and added within the last year or so. Yet, there are portions of the writing that would make those people cringe as well which was most likely written earlier in development. They've also never had pick your pronoun at the character creation screen before this game either.

Colonel 87th has a point. I feel it, too. Nothing overtly political, but the social stuff is palpable and unnecessary to the game. IMHO, of course. The 'humane meat' comments from Barrett, etc. I do find it interesting how Earth has been gone for over 200 years, yet, ethnicity/nationality traits from Earth are miraculously still very evident. Like Sarah's British accent... and Ricardo had no accent while speaking... until he pronounced his own name and rolled his "R's", lmao.

I felt like fallout used to be a great game on social commentary with an ironic twist, also I absolutely enjoyed how the corporations tinkering with demons in Doom keeps repeating this mantra: "Remember demons are an offensive term, we prefer mortally-challenged".

Ah poor Oxhorn. With how he does the Lore stuff he has to do the lockpicking and... it just doesn't seem like his thing. Personally? I like it as an improvement. I'm far better at the spatial awareness required for that compared to say, the non-existent (to me) audio cues that Oblivion's lockpicking had.

Though speaking of silly and minor annoyances for me? The only time I ever really want to Fast Travel is when i'm over encumbered. Particularly in this game just... nothing happens on the way back to the ship/city. You killed and discovered everything on the way out. It's not like you being over encumbered and slowed might lead to some situation where Crimson Fleet Raiders show up trying to rob you of your obviously heavy load. It's just frustrating for me. If I'm not encumbered? I want to run around, explore the world. If I got loot? I just want to go and hock it, craft it, whatever. It's backwards to me. Particularly with the crafting focuses in this game I don't want to Fast Travel on my way out to scan and pick up stuff.
