This is super cool - all sounds/voices/effects from the Coral? touchOSC mapped to 1 through 8 tracks? OXI One on multi track? Presume in place of touchOSC you could use an external midi controller?

all sounds are from Coral. As far as i can remember i didn't even use external effects. Everything was sequenced with one multitrack sequencer of the OXI One. Looking at the v4 of the firmware this works today even more comfortable. TouchOSC was configured to send normal MidiCC on 8 different channels (depending on what page you are) .. so yes this could easily replaced by any Midicontroller. Wich i would recommend to use.

Nice one ! How good is it to operate without touch osc ? Went through the manual and it seems a bit "crowded" with lots of combos. And does it make a plaits obsolete ?

it's not really crowded with functions... there are the main functions wich you directly dial in and then are the secondary function, for wich you need to push and hold the encoder. the secondary functions you mainly need for setting things up, wich i would suggest to do once in a preparation step and maybe save some presets out of it. I'm not sure if it makes a plaits obsolete.. depends a bit how you use it. But possibly yes

Nice one! How do you connect the iPad ? USB to the sequencer ?

there are several ways of approaching this... also directly via usb should work. I had it setup via the touchOsc bridge and a laptop oder Wifi. For USB you will need an adapter for the iPad that accepts the OXI One.. Apple CCK with external power connector works or some of the third party connectors

Yes exactly. Nothing external added (except a touch of compression and limiter). It offers 8 independent voices wich can be grouped completely as you like to be polyphonic or a separate voice and 10 different sound engines.

@@verstaerker it sounds amazing! I haven’t went Modular yet and got the Oxi One just last month. I am semi Modular with Moog Matriarch, Make Noise 0-coast and Strega. Want to get a full Modular set up and this seems a good start, just waiting for them to get back to me about buying this and the pipe plus the case they demonstrated on their first video. I’m not sure to leave case and get a bigger one though as I want Maths and another sequencer module..I think lol

@@verstaerker that’s what I was thinking, this is an ideal small set up that would be quick to set up and have some fun with while I work on building my case. I was in looking at cases yesterday, so much choice, cannot be rushed lol
