Omg what amazing timing! I just found this channel this week from the Don't Starve video and wondered if you would ever cover this awesome game! Klei are one of the best devs around and their games are so good, especially ONI. Loved this video and I hope more people give the game a chance, it's so worthwhile

Damn. The video is about Oxygen Not Included, which includes animations from Animal Crossing, and some random music from Stardew Valley. Now these two know how to have a good time.

My impression when it comes to priorities is that maybe you should have kind of a hard rule for top priorities, like 9 - Someone is dying. Prevent the dying. 8 - Critical infrastructure 7 - Less Critical Infrastructure 6 - BF's project that is *really* important

As far as I know, the trick is to pump a geyser into an electrolyzer, use the oxygen as oxygen and pump as much of your waste heat as possible into the hydrogen before feeding it into a huge oven generator, which will delete the hydrogen along with its heat.

I heve some advice for you guys firstly being that food poisoning doesn´t really matter, secondly don´t use the algae deoxidizer at all and go to algae terrariums directly and then transition to electrolyzer once your plumbing system works and for food bristle blosoms are, in my opinion better than mealwood as mealwood requires dirt and water to grow while bristle blosoms only need water and can be made into more different kinds of food later on, just watch out to not have a duplicant with allergies.

The midgame hump is the hardest part of ONI and it is not intuitive what you need to do survive it. If you having trouble with the midgame hump I recommend you try a iceworld. It gives you a nice long time to figure out "heat" destruction methods. And for the love of god, quit using heat to kill germs. No wonder you die to heat death. This is not intuitive, but what you need is a "chlorine room". This actually something you build pretty early. Shortly before you moved to flush toilets' and wash basins. If you place a liquid reservoir in a "chlorine room" the chlorine kills the germs in the liquid (yes, I know it makes no sense). If you are good at automation, 3 reservoirs in a row will purify the water no matter how germy it is. Though if you don't want to fool with automation and totally scatterbrained, 7 reservoirs in a row could probably do the trick. I usually go with 4.

Hi There, I really enjoyed your video. It's great that you guys really enjoyed ONI, I ADORE this game and know your frustrations. I would like to give you a few pointers that really helped me enjoy the game much more (Kudos to Francis John for most of these, check out his channel for so much ONI help) -Priorities are indeed important, but also specialization, prioritize building & digging on some dupes, science on another, hauling on the next, dedicate a cook and also a farmer/rancher -Start with a very good researcher and two digger/builders (just keep spinning until you get +7 on science or digging respectively) -Be VERY critical when choosing dupes, I wouldn't accept mouth breathers, narcoleptic or digging/building impaired dupes, but dupes that are impaired on anything that isn't their specialization (cooking/medic/art) is GREAT! -Sweeping is a VERY low priority, expect in specific circumstances (mopping is more important though). Also DON't use storage boxes to store everything, just leave everything where you find it for the first 50-80 cycles, as decor is not important. From cycle 80-100 start building floors, then the debris falls down out of sight. Start worrying about it around cycle 500 or so. -Focus on a certain project to get it done well, then move on to the next (try to only get interrupted by anything that is an immediate danger to your dupes) -Prioritize setting up lavatory (upgrade later), bedroom and (great) hall (you already do that, so kudos there) -Focus on research, many problems can be solved with new techs -Decor becomes important when exosuits come into play, as you'll need specialization to make effective use out of them Hope those tips help anyone that wants to try the game, enjoy!

If you tell me that I overuse the joke that you, playing these kinds of games badly and eventually failing, always get farther than I do, than I will tell you that its not a joke, its honesty. Its now 0-4 in your favor, with Don't Starve Together, Project Zomboid, Rimword, and Oxygen Not Included. I'm betting your score is going to at least double by the end of the year.

Is it too late to ask if girlfriend has found out about monster hunter rise, sunbreak? or has she already made both a new cat and a dog. edit: while I would like to see a mech warrior 5 date night but its not gonna happen I can see boy liking the mech customization and breaking out his calculator to find the optimal weapon for the weapon mount, ammo, armor, and heatsink ratio for a mech and girl liking the mech painting but there's not enough painting customization for girl to be happy with. but I'm not sure how both boy and girl would like piloting a big stompy mech that's probably a few hundred years old and has been endlessly rebuilt out of scrap and spare parts because someone turned the factory that made that specific mech into a nuclear blast crater for the crime of making a big stompy mech
