Duplicants everywhere are chilling out with Meep's Manadatory Recreation Content Pack! This free content pack contains a set of new recreation buildings to help our Duplicants relax and enjoy the leisure time all that Automation has brought to them.
As well, we've added a new mechanic called “Overjoyed Responses” which gives a chance of bonus improvements to decor or productivity along with new Overjoyed reaction animations when Duplicant morale is much higher than expectations!
The team has been hard at work these last few months improving performance issues, building Meep’s Recreation Pack, as well as working on bigger things for the future.
We've fixed a number of bugs in this update as well, so thank you to everyone who has reported bugs in the forum! We always appreciate your reports and feedback!

This game is good, complicated but good, most of the time I prefer to play in sandbox. I can still have fun.

you could save a lot of power by relying less on filters, they are generally not necesary, for example on the fetilizers, you coulve just vacuum the place, and you don't ever need to make a pump for vacuum a room, just fill all the tiles after the liquid lock and then deconstruct them. I really enjoyed this series so far, not everyone plays on max difficulty and it's a great oportunity to show people how to optimize in almost everything

A note about your schedule. Putting bathtime right before downtime is rarely a good idea. For scheduled bathtime they will take care of hygiene needs but if they don't have any they will get to work. Having downtime right after can create a scenario where they finish bathroom stuff then head to work only to be turned around for downtime right after. Some dupes will spend the entire time in transit and not actually get any work done OR get a break. You are way more experienced at this game than I am so if you have a handy reason for this setup I'm very interested!

Still needs to be submerged a little to prevent off-gassing however. High gas pressure works too, but that can be tricky. I don't like relying on that in anything but a waterlocked room

Hi, thank you for the content, been enjoying and learning from you for a while now! In you'r cooling loop, use the returning water to cool down the salt water, i.e. built a radiator inside the salt water pool. I got the water temperature to at least stabilize using the same setup. This also prevents the water in the loop from cooling down to much and stopping the loop. Thanks again.

Keeping incubators inside the stable contributes to the number of critters, thus making them "Cramped" faster. I keep my incubators outside the stable in order to maintain a higher critter population.

If you remove all other gases from a room, then you wouldn't have to use a filter for the natural gas?

May i give you one suggestion? work with local materials, you are making ign.rock and granite tiles and ladders in a sandstone area, just use sandstone then so your dupes dont run back and forth bringing in the rock. love your vids keep it up!

Composts and pips can produce dirt. You can also cook some organic materials into dirt if you heat them up a lot

if you already have unlocked the glass forge, you can make a small insulated kiln that you could use to convert slime, algae, and fertilizer into dirt. if you have a aquatuner made of steel, you could use that instead of a glass forge.

Put a Pokeshell dropoff at your water sieves. They will eat the polluted dirt that drops and gives you free lime

I noticed you have one schedule with only two dupes, then the other schedule with literally everyone else. Considering you only have two toilets, wouldn’t it be best to make another schedule (or two?) to rebalance everyone’s time? (Esp so you don’t suddenly have 2/3 your workforce suddenly go to sleep all at once)

Is there any way to create natural blocks like dirt blocks? That tree farm would be great if you had a flat plane to work with.

* There is an exploit where a deconstructed door leaves behind a metal ore tile. I think it happens when you surround it by other titles on three sides. * You can cook algae into dirt tiles at around 125°C. But then you have to cool down everything again

You can also drop hot glass from the glass forge thingy.. onto 1k algae and it will turn into a dirt or sand block depending on temp/amount, etc. But both can be planted by pips. IIRC one blob of glass can be split with liquid valves into 12? tiles.

-Now that you have proper water supply, you can make a rodriguez oxygen setup which can pressure your base and so that co2 wouldnt be an issue and at the same time provides excess power. -I cant understand why are you making all of those commands with prio 9. i mean if all of your prio become 5, all of the 6 and 7's would be highest command and your dupes wouldnt have to suffer from high priority stress. -Your base still has some natural tiles which just interrupts your pressure. if you have large and wide area for CO2 at the buttom of the base, CO2 will fall off evenly and make your work easy. -For fertilizer, if you vaccum all of the air in that room there will be only natural gas that comes out from the fertilizer. but make sure you make a atmo sensor because the natural gas comes out, probably will be cooler that the heat that the fertilizer makes itself. So if you make your sensor 2 kilos, its gonna cool itself like the oil refinery. -I advise you to rebuild your bathroom. Make it 4 sinks and 4 toilet and make sure you have 4 people at all schedules so that 4 people never over-use the bathrooms. You can even have excess polluted water if you make the setup self sustained and water some plants. -Last but not least, expand your base. its so smalllll ! Nice series, i havent play oasis but you giving me courage to play it .p
