The dupes are doing low level errands before the high priority ones! Setting jobs higher in the board means that priority 1 jobs of that type are done before your priority 9 jobs of another type. Don't use the priority board at all except for attack, toggle and cooking. Everything else should be the same level and don't change it. Set everything on your map to priorty 5 and change your machines to level 6. In the job priority board settings, enable proximity. This setting allows jobs to be done from oldest to newest. Your going to really feel the game speed up with these settings.

* Each hatch needs 12 tiles. So you can easily calculate the maximum number of hatches per stable. The maximum is 8 in a 96 tile room. * The lead in the oil biomes is also super useful

You can keep the stable narrow (nine tiles wide or less) so an autosweeper can work; the unused space on top can be used for storage bins, power transformers, or refinement buildings

if you put the storage containers closest to the door, before your critter feeders in your ranches with a higher priority then your dupes will take bigger loads to it first and then they will fill the feeders super quick

Great series! So many jobs you put as priority 9. I don't think I've ever seen you use priority 2,3,4. Please Please Please slow down a little bit and think about which priority to put things. Put your required ingredients/materials nearer the machinery in storage bins. Sweep more. Work on the basics and your dupes will be able to get more done - like smooth fast movement, proper priorities. Automate as much as possible. Your dupes are spending so much time on just commuting just to do the maintenance. Focus on one project at a time as higher priorities. You have so many different areas/projects just sitting there undone because of this. I saw a fireman's pole undone over a few episodes.
