Not really relevant anymore, haven't caught up on the more recent videos, but I've actually used my frozen core to freeze my CO2. Built a vent, pumped it in and watched it rain down solid. Might be an idea for the future, if it hasn't already been put to use.

Oxyfern are much, much more effective when domesticated and you should have plenty of water for them. I actually have the problem that I don't have enough CO2 for them. I'm considering running a wood burner or two to produce more

I can't help but think that each time you need expand your oxygen production that you should store some in tanks to buffer the supply for the suits. That being said, I am enjoying watching. 😃

Slime productions fairly simple thou, you just make a combination of a polluted water puddle and storage containers containing the slime in a sealed room with Puft's, the slime and the polluted water will create polluted air which pufts can create slime out of. I always combine my slime storage, puft farm and polluted water reservoirs(Waste disposal, so sometimes my compost are in there aswell), then I add a clean room inbetween with a shower, deodorizer and/or sink. The thing is that a slime storage with a puft farm don't spread alot of slimelung since the pufts will keep the air clean on their own(They will hover over the containers and water sucking the air in as It's produced). It's the first thing I do on ordinary maps with slime biomes, since It gives a fairly good Egg production, cleans the air and give a safe enviroment to keep slime stored while at the same time helping me sustain the mushrooms even earlier on in the game. A side effect of the pufts are that they acctually disinfect alot of the germs. In my "normal mode base" I acctually have a tripple purpose room where I got pufts at the top, sage hatches in the middle(eating my polluted waste) and polluted water tank at the bottom. On Oassise I however have only a smal farm of Pufts to get slime to turn into polluted water and algea(Which I need for my Tropical Pacus), since those are resources shining with It's none existance in the big desert. However I did get a couple of drecko eggs today so perhaps I can soon get the suits I need to explore a bit more.

That is really neat to know! I think I am for the first time even getting to the point I can really explore out, usually I get to like good bathroom water loops, coal and hydrogen power maybe. Never had exo suits or plastic or any fancy power, or fancy farms, so it is nice to learn this stuff.

@@Purrfect_Werecat Well there's a fairly simple way to get a decent food production in order by using a polluted water tank. On slime biome maps you can acctually make a 24x4 tank with a sideway door down into It. Then place a 96 tile room of any shape you feel like above it(Or half that size Is enought to be fair). In the room above the tank you place a grooming station then start herd some Puft's in there. One Puft can create slime enought for five Dusk Caps. I'd say It's enought to try stay at 3-4 Grown Puft's or they will start to slow down production(even if the maximum are 6 in a 96 room, hence why I said It's fine with half). Then you can plant 5 x number of pufts of Dusk Caps without any worry. As for the polluted water tank. As long as you keep it about three tiles full, you can fit 8 pacus in it. If there's wild Pacu you can put a storage container in the pool, then grab all the eggs and hatch wild Pacu in the tank. They will reproduce after 20 cycles and naturaly die providing you with some free fish. That way you have a Multi purpose ranch with selsustained resources. If there's not enought wild Pacu you can just divide the pool by using the Mesh tiles, then setup a conveyor belt with a critter sensor and a Auto Sweeper, then just feed 1-2 pacu(Pacu's eat a ton of Algea so they are generally very expensive), while the auto sweeper move the eggs to the other side of the wall for hatching. Pacus are really quick food even without incubators and requires no grooming, the draw backs usually the Algea cost of maintaining them.

I have to say really enjoying the series. You gave me the idea about using Mushrooms as well. Quickly ran out of slime though, thankfully got into fishing and I was already well established in ranching and bringing in BBQ every few cycles. So Surf n' Turf was on the menu. Keep up the great content :D

If you put the mesh tile centered under the generators, it keeps the floors dry. (unless you need it for cooling)?) If you make the entrance to the aquatuner a tile or two higher, the water won't spill (if you add more later), just the steam. Really enjoying the series. I haven't played this on any hard settings.

If he'd of just ranched for food at cycle 359 he'd be swimming in food while eating BBQ and over heated plants wouldn't be a problem. But at least he's got 4 worthless ranching going doing about nothing as he kills the guys off before they can product anything. Outhouses, beds, great hall. Then depend the map temp. Ranching or insulted tiles. Then good bathrooms. But get ranching going so temp really doesn't matter. It's at least a 175 cycles (unpowered) of ranching right before they start paying off. So the sooner the better. Powered it's about a 100 cycles.

I believe if the room is classified as a "stable" it cannot also be classified as a "park", you get only one of the bonuses.

I dont tend to use them. Brothgar has some good vids on it. I prefer to use the aquatuner as a heat source because I can get cooling out of it.

Nearly 14 hours on one base. I really want to get into this game but its a huge time sink. Its like playing Mount & Blade or something, you want to stop, but theirs still armies to conquer, villages to raid and maidens to dab on so you never really want to.
