The speed you get this all done at is just intense, amazing run!
@Coolingmoon4 жыл бұрын
The last cycle was intense. Didn't expect reservoir overheated. If cooled down earlier it should be a 39 cycle run.
@VirusEcks4 жыл бұрын
that's definitely cheating LOL .. somehow the cycles are longer than it should be or it your speed ?... anyway your speed is the real deal ...

I'd love some commentary during these runs

Was I the only one wondering wtf this guy is doing and saying this guy is insane throughout the whole video lol. Really kool the way you build man, its not 100% OCD friendly but its efficient af. Love it

This looks chaotic
@Coolingmoon4 жыл бұрын
Not as chaotic as the last Oceania run

Could do with a time/goal overlay since there's no commentary. Helps to add an action subtitle to what you're aiming for at any given moment.

I did want to setup one but don't know how to do when objectives are not coming one by one hardly. Sometime I may put down coal gen earlier than mealwood farms or start glasses earlier than ceramics.

This game is a bit too difficult to fumble around on one own.. watching someone else speedrun is the best 😄

I always underestimate just how much carbon dioxide petroleum generators put out in my runs. This is solid!
@Coolingmoon4 жыл бұрын
Isaac Seavello Planning to put one skimmer down early near coal gen. Should be better than manually moving pwater. And get rid of co2 earlier cause less problem.

Why do you dig the tile below the plant instead of just the plant itself?
@Vagitarian014 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure it's significantly faster to dig the tile out rather than uproot the plant.

Have you ever considered finding one perfect seed and resting using only that one seed? Or am I missing something? Just a thought that I think can help mega optimize runs.
@tangerian3194 жыл бұрын
As someone who's done a lot of looking into speedrunning, one of the cool things about random seed runs is you get to discover new seeds. Also, it depends on what the runner likes to do. It takes a lot of effort to find "perfect" seeds, and new ones are found every day. I don't see set seed really becoming a thing for ONI unless the speed community grows.

Suggestion: do a temporal tear%. AKA getting all your duplicants to the temporal tear as fast as possible Also i recommend using a real time timing display to more acuretly represent how much time it took
@Coolingmoon4 жыл бұрын
Temporal tear% is a super long run. Even longer than a Chrono trigger speedrun on GDQ. No plan to do this ATM but will do Rime monument run next. Yeah many people told me to have the timer thing setup. May do this next time.
