Thanks, I'm having the same issue with a dodge. After replacing pcm and checking all wires I was beginning to suspect that the sensor was pulling the wrong amperage. First video ive watched that mentioned that idea and ive done lots of homework.

Your video helped me. In my case, the A/F sensor in the car had a bad heater, and was the right part, but the eBay part was misrepresented as working for this 2002 Camry, but was the wrong part. Using the P/N from the old part, instead of claimed online compatibility is the better approach.

I think the difference is one is California emissions and the other is Federal emissions. Make sure look under the hood at the label for what type of emissions. Same car, same year, same engine but different emissions uses different air fuel sensor.

I did not just use an ohmmeter to check the wiring, that is not always a good check because it does not stress the wiring. I will show in another video how I checked the wiring.

There is confusion of what an A/F sensor is versus what a O2 sensor is. They are one in the same on this vehicle. The A/F needs a internal heater to ensure greater accuracy

a 2002 is a far cry from a 2007, in 2004 the 2AZ became a 2.4 litre... so 2003 would be the highest year interchange with that 2002.

We'll done. Wow that was a tough one. The wrong sensor caused the ECM to shut down - do you think the O2 heater driver was overloaded for the 15 seconds and then shut down ?

When the computer "sees" the wrong amperage, it shuts down the control, and sets the code. Doesn't seem to have damaged anything.

the code p1135 is for air fuel ratio sensor, and po135 is for the O2 sensor, I think the code was misreading?

It is an A/F (wideband) sensor, not an O2 (narrowband) sensor. The wrong name can lead to buying the wrong part, as it seems to have been done here.

They are both the same. The heater is in the A/F

Roman , I have a 6 Cycl 2002 Camry and I have been chasing the same problems for P1135. I noticed in your video your header was for a 4 cylinder Camry. 'Will the 235-9010 work for my car ? Both B1S1 and B2S1 ...I think I need both A/F Sensors. Can you tell me which Denso A/F are correct for my 2002 Camry 3.0L , 6 Cylinder ? Carlton

Dude, this video would be so confusing to someone who doesn't already know this. You talk about the 234-9041 sensor being incorrect, but you switch to talking about the sensor installed so quickly, you make it sound like the 9041 is an a/f sensor, and the correct sensor is just an O2 sensor. That would confuse someone who is trying to figure out a P1135. Then you say the other, identical Camry you have access to, also has the wrong sensor, but you say it like that's correct. Contradicting your entire video. It happens, bur you should have gone back and explained some of that. No doubt if you watch the video, you will see exactly what I'm talking about.

I am having similar problem. I had check engine light and got the error codes 300, 301, 302, 306, 0170, 0172 and 1150 which told me that I had multi misfire with rich fuel mixture at Bank 2 Sensor 1. I ordered on eBay Air/Fuel (Oxygen) Sensor for Toyata and RX300. I removed from 2000 RX300 Bank 2 Sensor 1 with marking "Toyata 89467 ~ 48011 Denso 0200" and replaced with new one received; cleared the Error codes and took car for test drive. I got same error codes again. Can you assist what I may do to get the issue resolved. What is your recommendations and what part number I may order. If you have website, give me link.

I got a mystery, and today I could not get through emissipms because after replacing every sensor I could think of, I'm still getting a p0141 error code. That's my mystery, and while it's great that you have solved yours, you also made a 17 minute video of talking about stuff without saying what it actually is.

RomanAutomotive nope. If it's a short then it's a lost cause. To me trying to trace down a short in a wire harness is worse then shoveling horse shit. This toyota has only 130k miles and I cant even get this pile of crap through emissions. I looked at forums and apparently untraceable check engine lights is what mechanics know Toyota for. A friend of mine had one in his Tacoma and it drove him and his mechanic nuts for months. I'm just done with Toyotas, Honda is the way to go.
