In this episode, I show you how I replaced the rear O2 sensor in my wife's 1999 Toyota Solara.

Im doing one right now once the airbox is out of the way i used a box wrench and got it out pretty easily. Luckly it wasnt frozen on

So you got it from the top? That's not a bad idea. The air box isn't really that hard to remove and it might remind you to clean the air filter. LOL.

@antimattergarage8147 yup it's a little tight but I can get a box wrench on there and there's room for a cheater bar if necessary

I really must ask why bother I mean most cars now have sick o2 sensors..

I don't understand what that means. O2 sensors measure the amount of oxygen in exhaust gasses. The fuel injection system uses those values directly to decide how much fuel to inject into the engine to keep it running correctly. Without a properly operating O2 sensor(s) fuel economy, performance and NVH will suffer and in my case a CEL will be illuminated. That's why I bother.
